I own every single Halo game (excluding Halo: Wars, which was an abomination), and I will be getting Reach as soon as I am able.

I didn't play the Beta however, because I didn't have the time. Wish I had the time, but whatever, all the more anticipation while I wait. I'm mostly interested in Forge and the Campaign, as well as Firefight.

I'll give it a rent to see how similar it is to Halo CE (loved that game). If it is similar to the campaign(CE's that is). Then I'll probably pick it up after the first price drop.

Halo was the first game series I fell in love with, so of course.

I enjoyed the beta, and will be buying Leg edition.

Didn't buy Halo Wars, the demo was kinda dull.

Yes I own all previous Halos, and yes I will own Reach, but definitely not right away. I enjoy the games, but they don't really invoke the ZOMGMUSTHAVENAO sorta-feeling to me. I'd be happy to even get it as a Christmas gift, seeing as how I'm busy with school and already have tons of games I'm not playing.

I pre-ordered mine months ago.
I've really enjoyed every halo game so far and from the beta and all the other content released so far I think it's going to be really good.

Do you like shooters normaly?
They are all I play. Half life 2, and the battlefield series are my favourite games. I also used to be a bit of a quake junkie; our graph comm classes were usually just lan parties.

I hated left 4 dead, though. And I loved Red Faction: Geurilla. So, my opinion doesn't normally fall with the mainstream.
I don't really play that many shooters myself(apart from halo that is) In my opinion it provides a bit more variety in gameplay then most others but that could just be me. I also think it strikes a really nice equilibrium between serious gameplay and hilarious playful nonsence.

I am quite looking forward to it, and I will probably buy it, just most likely not on launch day. The first game was one of the first FPS's I ever played, and even though I have played better FPS's since, the first still has a place in my heart (I consider it the best in the series). Played the second, enjoyed it. Played the third, thought the campaign was a little disappointing. Played ODST, enjoyed it, thought it was better than the third. Reach looks like it could be a good as the first though, which has me rather excited.

I pre-ordered it and halo 3 only had a mediocre solo campaign, some people don't pay any attention to gigantic steps forward like forge, theater, and custom games that are still waaaay ahead of the curve in terms of console multiplayer. I can log onto halo 3 with my friends today and play a whole new kind of cool map they made in their spare time. And to me, that experience is much more valuable then deathmatch on afghan.

Don't buy the legendary edition new. Look at the cost of previous legendary editions on ebay. It's not a remotely wise investment. Buy the standar game at launch, and the legendary 6 months down the line, when it's $30 on ebay. Then sell the original game for $15-20. Meaning, you get all the legendary stuff for $10 over the standard cost. And, it's not like you are going to use the extras that come with the legendary pack in the next 6 months. Probably not enough to justify the insane premium, anyway.

Could not pick any of the options.
Mine would have been
"Own Halo(1, 2, 3, Halo Wars)Do not Own(ODST) and I'm buying reach."

Sorry, my implication was that you owned any one of those games. My mistake. I'll make it more clear.

No, seeing as I do not own the console.

I only have an outsider's interest in the series anyway. If I play a game, I want something more than just the same regurgitated mechanics and scenarios that are stagnating the market.

that's interesting considering how halo 3 is still $80 plus on ebay
