Buying it? I preordered the Legendary edition before I even had the money. Ofcourse I'm buying it.
This, except for the 'before I even had the money' part.

every halo since the first has made me doubt that anyone at Bungie has a clue on how to make a sequel
i mean, playing as the Arbiter was a completely stupid idea
that would be like playing as a combine in half life
a story filled with plot holes, then Halo 3 came along to drill a few thousand more
then leaving a cliffhanger at the end, only to then make prequels?
just makes no damn sense
Why would playing as combine be dumb? That might be pretty cool actually.
Lol maybe
i am fond of those gas masks

Not played any of them, but the trailer is damn, DAMN pretty* and epic. I might rent this one, though there are many more games on my radar before it.

Oh, and I won't touch multiplayer if I do, and certainly not with a headset in.

* Well, as pretty as space marines can get.

Perhaps once it hits the bargain bin. That's when I normally pick up a Halo title. I'm not gonna shell out $60+ for something that'll be $20 very soon.

I don't know. I don't have ODST either - speaking of which, does it have a good, substantial, singleplayer campaign? I see it 2nd hand for like £12 and that is tempting, but I'd have thought a Halo game would command a higher price tag, even 2nd hand, for longer? If I play ODST, and I like it, then I'd be that much more likely to pick up Reach when it falls in price. I've never really been huge on the halo games, so it's not a day 1 purchase for me. I like them fine, but it's very much take it or leave it. I don't play the multiplayer (because I'm not paying for a live subscription ever) so they've got to rely on singleplayer content to win me over, and all I really hear about in regards to them is multiplayer stuff, so... I'm not sure what to think.

i seriously doubt that will happen, cod 4 had JUST recently went below 20 dollars, which before that it was roughly 25~29 and that came out roughly 3 years ago. and going by shooters and the popularity and the overall expectancy of halo reach, i seriously doubt it'll drop below 30 dollars in the next year or two

No. I have CE on PC and had 2 on Xbox, but I sold it. Played 3 once, and I don't have a 360, so meh... never really cared much for Halo anyway.

I'll be too busy playing intelligent games with fans that aren't played exclusively by people who probably aren't smart enough to truly appreciate gaming as artform.

Forge World is the main draw for me. I'm an avid Garry's Modder, and the Forge World trailer left me thinking "Garry's Mod for the Xbox with a permanent Halo mod? AND a No-Collide:World tool??? SUHWEET!"
My first goal is to recreate the first level of Unreal. The FIRST Unreal. One with plot, and ZERO reliance on multiplayer.

It took all my will power to not flame.
Halo threads are like a can of gasoline, it's fine until a single flame hits it.
and yet you post in every one.

OT: Yes, i'm very excited for it.
I posted that THREE DAYS AGO. troll

I might as well. As disappointing as I found ODST, and as quick as I got over the Halo 3 hype, i'm still going to buy Reach.

Because hey, sixty US dollars aren't going to spend themselves.

and since then, pretty much every halo thread i've been in, you have posted in, informing everyone of how much you dislike halo. Strangely, you forgot to tell everyone that they had no lives =D
Now you're just trolling
