I'll be celebrating "Hey everyone let's study for a Fluid Mechanics exam tomorrow" day.
But if I had to choose between the two, it would currently be Singles Awareness Day. Much better than last year's "It's Complicated but We Are Certainly On The Way Out" day.

I was going to be bitter about the whole thing, but I'm in the middle of a change in my outlook on life, so I'm happy for all those out their with GF/BF, can I can't wait until I get a turn.

Nope. I have to give a presentation in class over the software we are building, and Painkiller Redemption is supposed to becoming out that day, so my day is planned. Plus I'm 20 and never been on a date or anything...

Valentine's Day = saddest day of the year for me
And not because I'm single. GF died on 14th Feb 2003, visit her grave every Valentine's Day. Another GF even came with me a couple times.

I'm celebrating Oh-Fuck-It's-My-Sister's-Birthday-In-Three-Days Day.
It's a strange little holiday in which you try to stop everyone flipping out because your selfish idiot sibling will throw a hissy fit if she doesn't get at least double the amount of presents your family is currently in possession of.
Basically it's almost the same as Suck-Up-To-Your-Girlfriend Day. You still have to spend inordinate amounts of money if you want to avoid having your ear screeched off, but there is significantly less sloppy makeouts.
