No and probably due to the fact I cocoon in my own little WoW-ness threads, but I would like to be.

I'm one of two people to be sad for being famous. Huzzah!

Well maybe sad and famous are wrong words here, as I've said in other threads I'm well known around these parts but when you think of Escapist Community you do not think of me. I'm not notable for anything apart from being myself but I post a lot so you're bound to remember my face if you spend enough time here. I'm well known because I'm always here, nothing else. Sad is also a bit to strong of a word, it's not like being known around these parts bring me to tears, I just don't like being known that well. I suppose it's just who I am, the guy working behind the scenes, keeping his head down and staying quiet. Occasionally I do poke my head out and draw attention to myself and my opinions but those are always rare incidents and they seem to be occurring less and less these days.

I am curious as to who else voted yes, but sad I am.

I've been quoted by Radelaide a number of times and Labryinth a few times, does that make me escapifamous? Thought not, heh. How about being published in my state newspaper a number of times?

I would say that I'm well known for my low post count
but really no, I doubt most people remember me more than 10 mins. after we talk

I think I'm about middle tier when it come to popularity, I'm friends with some of the better known escapist, but not many lesser ones.

*sigh*

I don't even have a socialite badge yet.

Unless I'm more famous than people are letting on, but I highly doubt that.
I know of you.

*hugs*

Seriously though, 2700 posts later, does anyone even know me?
I would say so.
Oh yeah, you're definitely up there. Certainly more so than myself.

Yes.

Does being friended every couple of days by some random poster, that I've never even heard of make me famous?

Well I WAS famous for sometime. Then I left to basic and all these new people took over. Other famous people remember me while the newer people look at me like "How did this guy get over 1000 posts so fast?". I guess this is how classic rock guitarists must feel when people ask modern children about them.

Don't you worry none Ares.
I have a plan.
A fiendish plan.
A fiendish plan that is bound to etch your visage into the minds of all who witness the results.
But it will take some time to be completed. Say... Three weeks?
