Well, I'm not going to be finished with them just because of a 5 minute mistake. Even if it was a horrible, mind-numbingly stupid mistake that a five-year-old could point out.

But, I'm not going to look at a Bioware game the same way again. Before this, I could be 95% certain that if it was made by Bioware, then I would at least be satisfied with it.

Now I'm going to look at Bioware the same as EA; as if every word they said is bullshit until proven otherwise.

It's just sad that I have to think this way about a company that I used to be able trust would put 110% effort in their products.

Duh, they're one of the few companies I buy from regularly. I don't play sci-fi games though. Give me swords & a green landscape.

Nope, even though they didn't deliver with the end of ME3, they are still a very good company, and will most likely get better down the line. Only a spoiled ungrateful brat would react in such a manner as to neglect all future titles from a more then stellar game developer. They have done more good then not... remember that. And with better game technology coming, Bioware will most likely only get better as well.

And everyone that picked yes in the poll; you know the next jaw dropping, drool inducing, pants tightening, trailer for an all new franchise released by Bioware will have you running back to mommy faster then apple pie.... I bet a million galactic credits on it.

I'm a really tolerant person. I played through KOTOR late, but loved it. I bought ME and ME2 on release and paid for all the DLC and loved them. I Loved Dragon Age: Origins since release, bought all the DLC and DA:O:A, and while I didn't like DA2 as much, I didn't understand the rage at the ending and didn't find anything wrong with it. I consider Starwars Episode 1 to be a pretty enjoyable movie. I am very tolerant person when it comes to entertainment. I have never used the term "It ruined the series," and meant it before Mass Effect 3 (What Blair Witch Sequel?). Unless the indoctrination ending proves true, which I have come to accept as cannon since it pretty much covers every plothole in the game regarding the ending, I will most likely not be buying be buying another game for them.

Seems like ending of Neon Genesis all over again. Even though this technically makes more sense then the ME3 ending, imagine if this was in the last few pages of The Return of the King (would make more since Magic actually exists here and the "most important character in the universe" has been introduced in the series before this page). Do you think people should accept the ending since it's the artist's vision if this was what Tolkien wrote?

Yeah, I didn't think so...

No. The ending may have not been what I expected, or even wanted. I didn't like the god-child, but it's not enough for me to be as angry as some people are getting. I'm still very unsure if I want another ending for the game to be released, but do I know that I have enjoyed every minute of the Mass Effect series. The pros heavily over-weigh the cons.

No, it'll take more than one bad ending, in a series that is still one of my favorite of all time, even despite that atrocity, is not enough to make me condemn Bioware. KOTOR was great, Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age 2 were pretty good. I feel like one of the few people who didn't hate on Dragon Age 2 much, yeah, it wasn't as good as Origins, but it wasn't really horrible, in my opinion anyways.

I'll continue to buy & play when what they make interests me.

All the ME3 ending did for me was kill any desire to replay any of the ME games. Which is sad considering the writing was of excellent quality up until the last 5 minutes. Over the course of the game, I laughed, I cried, I stressed, I shouted, and then I got to the end. At first I was confused, then I realized none of that drama, choices, renegade/paragon stuff mattered because no matter what, I was going to get one of 3 endings with no conclusion, epilogue, squad member outcomes, nothing.

I got up from my computer, went to bed, and realized it was the first ME entry with no point in replaying. But that still doesn't take away the awesome ride they gave me, even if that 1% of the game destroyed 100+ hours (just for one character) of the journey and left nothing but pointless ambiguity & incredibly vast gaps in previously established plot.

Absolutely, I'm not buying anything from them ever again.

I'll stick with Bethesda, I prefer shittier stories with tons of replay value and higly moddable games.

And I'll also stick with CD Projekt for true RPGs.

I didn't cared for Dragon Age or SWTOR anyways.

Or any of their pre EA merger games for that matter, Baldur's Gate is crap, Neverwinter Nights is shit and I don't care for any of their other games. I'm more of an "actiony" guy and that's why I liked Mass Effect in the beginning.

I have not been satisfied with any game they have made since baldurs gate + Neverwinter nights being an average entertaining game but not replayable on the level I hoped.

Dragon age is a joke and Mass Effect series not far behind it. They had no much potential with these games and instead they use the cliché Lord of the Rings Plot for Dragon age with repetitive dungeons and hold my hand dialog options. The same can be said with Mass effect series with the gameplay being something of a redeemer but not the story.

As for that program that will act like steam that bioware has made for an EA origin account, they not taking no money from me at this present moment.

because any rational human being would conclude that a disagreeable ending should spoil an entire quality game!

Ahfuck - the question in the poll ist the direct opposite of the one in the thread title, isn't it? Anyway, I meant to say, yes I will. Mass Effect 3 was still an awesome game, plus this isn't over yet. I still have faith that they'll do right by us. And if not, that they avoid misssteps like this the next time.

The ending to Mass Effect 3 wasn't bad, it was just a bit too short on the details. I don't blame Bioware, I blame EA. If you want to boycott someone, boycott EA (or future ME3 DLC). If no one buys the DLC, EA will get the point. Rest of the game was perfect. So yeah, I'll probably buy their next game, but not the DLC.

I may decide to purchase their games if they change their ways, but not right now. Not with shitty endings, rubbish day1 DLC, and all the other crap that bothers me so much.

I didn't buy ME3 because I disagree with their business practices and untill they change that, I'm not giving them my money.
