Yes. I even aim to pre order the Collectors Edition. I want my Aludins statue on my shelf. Looking at me as I sleep. Whispering things..........

Not likely, and I actually have a friend that works there. I just chuckle at her when she talks about all the last-minute craziness before release.
"I'll wait for the GOTY Edition" is what I say to her.

I'm going to buy Skyrim on day one! Bethesda's games do tend to be a bit buggy, but they also tend to be so incredibly huge and diverse that you'll easily be able to play them for at least the better part of a year before the problems get really annoying.

Besides, waiting for Saints Row 3 is driving me nuts. I'm sure the wait will be much shorter once I have Skyrim to keep me occupied!

I don't like Bethesda games, so no, I will not be getting it. I'll probably watch a friend play through it though. I don't mind watching, but I can't play it them.

Hell yes, after playing Oblivion I was astounded at how much there was to do in the Elder Scroll games. That and the Fallout games also helped me get hooked on Bethesda's giant open rpg style.

I'll get it a month or two down the road since I figure it will be broken until they patch it a lot.

Nah. I'm one of the few people who doesn't have any interest in Skyrim. Oh sure, I'll play it, but probably 2 years down the track when it's been fully patched, polished, and DLC'ed, and is at it's peak performance.

With so many games coming out at the end of this year that I AM interested in, just don't have the time or patience for Skyrim.

There are two types of people in this world. Those who are getting Skyrim, and those who are not. The latter are my enemies.

So, sirs/ladies, will it be pistols at noon, or rapiers at sundown?

Yep, for sure I'm getting Skyrim. I only played Oblivion and Morrowind before it, and they both (Morrowind more) had hours upon hours of gameplay. Morrowind was the first game to really immerse me into its world and get over 100 hours, so buying a Elder Scrolls game is a no-brainer for me.

Sure I am. Not right away though. For one I have a back log of at least, 10 games to play. Two, I'm poor and cannot afford to spend ?45 on a new game. Three, buy the time I do buy it there will be patches and DLC galore!

Yes, I am getting Skyrim. Yet I am a big critic on its flaws and HATED Oblivion's combat.

Nevertheless I want to give Skyrim the benefit of the doubt as Bethesda had the Fallout series to master their work as well as full support to make Skyrim better than any of their previous games.

I will give Skyrim a chance and I am sure I will have quite a many hours to play whether I end up enjoying the game or not.

I'm considering it still.

I got Oblivion on the launch date and didn't really play it all that much. The environments were decent but the character models were horrible and the combat was clunky and useless. I hear it was better on the PC but as I paid 100 bucks for it on the console I don't really feel that excuses anything.

Skyrim looks like a decent improvement so I'm thinking of giving it a go, but definitely not on release - I'll be hanging back a little to see til bug fixes are out and the price drops. I'll also be going the PC route this time which needs I have to upgrade, mines a little old now.

Oblivion is one of my favorite RPGs, so yes! I thought the battle mechnics were one of it's strong points. Non of this 3rd person crap. Non of this lock on crap. Right trigger swings sword, left trigger holds shield. Go where ever the f*ck you like, do what ever quest you want.

From what I've seen they've fixed a lot of the problems I had. The only worry I have, is it going to be too easy? Is there a limit on how many times you can do that slow-mo insta kill crap? So far, I don't like that at all. Combat seems to reliant on that from what they've shown so far.
