Poll: Are you getting skyrim?

I will get skyrim on release day and not leave my room for a month. sure im getting hyped for a game but games i get hyped for i usually play the hell out of and really enjoy.
everyone criticises oblivion for graphics and bugs, and yes whilst the graphics weren't excellent they were ok for the time. and i never ran into any game breaking bugs. just funny ones like those weird candlesticks, and creepy ones where a character I had killed ages ago would stand upright with their arms out in a crucified position. The combat was kept simple if a little repetitive (at least its not turn based) and the magic creation system was amazingly extensive.
Not to mention how real Bethesda make the world feel, with books you can read (albeit only the first few pages) and houses you can buy, pubs being dotted around and just general detail to the environment. whilst it wasn't terrible by any means I'm one of the few who prefers Oblivion to Fallout 3. (though ive been playing NV a lot and enjoying it)

I don't even know why people are so excited about it. The thing about it I enjoyed the most was that you can apparently equip a shield on each hand.

No I'm not. I have a deep seated disdain for The Elder Scrolls. As well as anything else Bethesda has made.
Besides, even if Bethesda finally did prove me wrong there's just too much good stuff coming out that's right up my alley. UMvC3, Uncharted 3, Arkham City, Street Fighter x Tekken...

Probably not. The last Elder scrolls game I enjoyed was Minecraft Daggerfall, and I didn't love it I just liked it. If however Obsidian get hired to do an expansion pack or a not-quite sequel, I'll be all over that like stink on shit. That said I'll probably buy Squirm for less than 10 dollars during a Steam sale one day.
I probably will, but having never played a previous Elder Scrolls, and having heard both good and bad things about the series, I think I'll stick it out until I hear some definite details on whether it'll be good or not.

Well, I have already reserved and paid for my copy in advance. Oblivion was ok but I'm expecting Skyrim to be about a bajillion times better.

I might get it eventually, when it's $12 in a Steam sale. The game looks great, but I remember how overwhelmingly bored I got with Oblivion. Bethesda's games just don't seems to click with me.
Collectors edition! Although, I may be eating ramen noodles for the next few months. At least I now have a reason to chronically neglect my girlfriend.
