As I am in the army atm, and most of my friends are moving away, I wish it were like old times... but hey, that's life, right?
Going to uni next year, and probably get some new friends... I don't bond easily, but I have grown really fond of some of my old friends... :S

I have no real social life to speak of.
I wish I had friends, but even if I did, I have a very hard time at being outgoing toward other people (that aren't family members).
I never even contact the online friends I have on the Escapist, because......I really don't know.

I'm quite happy with my social life could it be improved yes but it's not in my top 10 of needing improvements

i have a best friend that has my back, many other close friends, i am part of a group that in itself is not unpopular, i know many people somewhere around my home town that i have regular contact to that have helped me out, heck, if i had not met some of these people, i might not be in a band as a singer right now.
oh, yeah, and i have managed to get really close with the girl that i have a crush on. not that it is something THAT unusual, but hey, it's at least better than never being around her or being hated by her

My social life is terrible... I only ever hang out with my friends every other weekend... I have a very hard time talking to anyone I don't already know... no idea why, but when trying to socialize with others, my mind goes blank...
Recovering from social anxiety is a biggest pain in the ass imaginable. My social life is non-existent. So yeah, not happy.
Not really. Half of my friends joined the military after high school, and the other half moved, or got involved in drugs and such and I haven't heard from them since.
Most of the people I actually like aren't local enough to hang out with, so it's pretty boring, but that will most likely change once I enroll in college or find a job.

I've grown up in a school system where It's basically the same 20 people all the way through preschool, kindergarten, elementary, middle, and high school (well about 10 new people joined up in high school) Within this group I had made a group of friends (all guys) because we had similar interests and they were fun to hang out with. Unfortunately, the more we hung out the more they treated me like shit and the more I realized how immature they were. I basically separated myself from them and also switched schools. It's been about a week and a half in the new school and I am totally out of my element, there are about 60 people in my class which is big for me and I can't tell if anyone is at all interested in what I am. So I am slowly warming up to people and right now i lack a close group of friends (i still have individual friends, that arent as close but i still hang out with them). It is a new feeling and it makes me feel lonely and I tend to be a bit shy at times (though, not once I get to know people, or when i don't know them at all.) but I am really judgmental of myself and THAT is what I'm talking about.
Being a teenager sucks. Going through puberty sucks. Nuff said.
Lol yeah I noticed that but honestly the "terrible" is what needs more elaborating. If your happy your happy, but disappointment or sadness is often much more complicated. I just tried to make as many options as possible.ghii3 said:

I have some pretty awesome friends, and I play online (mostly L4D) with my girlfriend and her family, usually her grandpa playing Bill. I'd say it's a great social life.
