Poll: Are you happy?

I am happy. I have no reason for this at all but for what ever reason I am content with my life. I have no girlfriend and have spent most of my summer doing nothing but playing new video games and watching a LOT of anime. I have barely seen my friends due to either them or me being busy. Despite my obvious loneliness I am happy and I don't know why. But are you happy Escapist community?

PS. An ant just crawled onto me. That in turn did not make me happy.

Queensland just won their 6th straight State of Origin...... And I was there...... For free.

So yes, I am VERY happy at the moment.

$1000 in car repairs today. I've got tons of stuff to get done in not much time. But, I've got a pretty awesome job and good friends. So-so right now, but things are looking up for next week.

I really want to see my girlfriend, work is boring, and I haven't hung out with my friends enough this summer.

I'm never happy. If I feel like I might be enjoying myself, I avidly seek something depressing. I guess you could say I'm only content when I'm miserable. So yes, I'm always happy.

I'm pretty happy, both right now - relaxing and basking in the warm glow of the internet - and in general - plenty of friends, no serious problems for at least another few months. My low chance of finding a girlfriend occasionally gets to me (it's not that I'm particularly unattractive, timid, etc., it's that I simultaneously don't like to date strangers and don't want to risk friendships by dating). But having those friends and a hopeful future helps make up for it.

today after a long class of introduction to art which gave me a roaring headache, i came home and got on Xbox... an hour later my mom walks in and say here you go. it was from Netflix, " a movie? did she order it or hmm?" i open it and squeal like a three year old kid who just saw Santa. EUREKA! SEASON 4!!! my heart flew into heaven and back. I never except it to actually come. excuse me, i am happy once more. Until new doctor who is on Netflix then i am stuck somewhere between heaven and eternal happiness.

EUREKA! SEASON 4!!! my heart flew into heaven and back. I never except it to actually come. excuse me, i am happy once more. Until new doctor who is on Netflix then i am stuck somewhere between heaven and eternal happiness.

For the most part, yes. Still romantically frustrated but that's par for the course so far. Got a job so money is coming in. I have great friends, little in the form of bills and the internet. I also have time to write my stories again.

I am very happy, yes.

Many people would be unhappy in my situation, however; I prefer my own company, and will rarely go out and socialise with others, and I come from an abusive, single-parent home with a drunkard for a mother.

The true flame of happiness comes from within, and cannot be extinguished by any external factors.
