honestly i just never understood 2 things really;

1-the flag. why a rainbow? and if you take that much of the colour spectrum, whats left for the rest of us? black, white, grey brown. damn that sucks, the colours of bland, and sometimes awsome if done right. but wtf? i don't get it :/

2-the whole mentality i've seen thats "if your not bi/gay nor tried it, you must hate gays." so, apparently, there are people just as retarded as the catholics and ect hating on gays. not suprised, but why become a mirror image of your "enemy"? so to speak. (thats not alot, but it's happened enough that it's like wtf, and i've mostly seen it from lesbians myself, dunno why either o.o)

Not at all, 3 of the coolest people I know are gay. They're awesome.

Although I'd like to note that everyone should "keep it to themselves" be they gay or straight.

Also, I take it FAAAAABULOUS means no, right? Cos that's what I chose, mainly becuase it reminded me of Pegasus in the Yu Gi Oh Abridged Series

I learned a great word yesterday.

A heterosexist is one who prejudices against homosexuals on the grounds that heterosexuality is "the norm".

Regardless, no, they can do whatever they want, although I'd feel slightly uncomfortable if they were doing it in front of me.

When I was 15, a gay guy attempted to rape me. He probably should have come armed because barehanded he picked the wrong victim and nearly got himself killed.

For a fair while after that (as in, over a decade) I was a foaming-at-the-mouth crusader that gays were an abomination and blah blah blah hate speech.

Then I got to know one. Thankfully someone told me "keep your fool mouth shut and don't offend this guy" and the someone (my then-girlfriend, who introduced me to him) was someone I didn't want to piss off, so I gave him a fair chance.

That guy is now my closest male friend, a guy I'd go to war with, the guy who singlehandedly turned me from a frothing Republican asswipe into a tireless crusader for equality, because he is just that awesome. And I say that as a guy who's completely straight.

I've met his friends. Met a couple of his lovers, even (a double date with three guys and a girl? Why yes.) And I'm no longer a homophobe. Thanks, Mike.
Wow. That's quite a story. Out of interest, how'd the rapist nearly get himself killed? Useful to know these things. ;)

OT: No, I don't think so. I really could not give a flying fuck what your preference is. Heh, I've been asked if I'm gay before; I look incredibly offended before replying "I'm Bi, Daaarling." It usually confuses people, they can't tell whether I'm screwing with them or not. Although neither can I.... :S :p

I like lesbians. Yes I am a male.

I have nothing against either, just please boys, keep it to yourself. I remember this thread where the OP said a gay couple started making out during a movie. Please, keep it to yourself. I hate homophobes, what can they do to you?

Ladies? Be my guest.
So it's OK if, for example, I take my girlfriend out and we make out, but it's not OK if two dudes do the same thing?
It's not okay for anyone to show too much affection in public. I think it's inconsiderate to others who probably don't want to see that.
I thought about going for the "I'd go to war for him, I asked, he told, I'd STILL go to war with him" joke, but I left it alone.

And I have far more respect for people who say "PDA is inappropriate regardless of the genders of the participants" than people who are like "eew, dudes kissing" or "hawt, chicks making out". Apply a consistent standard, please. (although as affectionate as I tend to be, I'd rather it be a standard where people get to be lovey-dovey to each other.)
How is it inconsistent for a heterosexual person to not be aroused by a member of their own gender doing something, but finds the same activity undertaken by a member of the opposite gender to be arousing? Be it playing badminton, doing taxes, or making out, I find women arousing and men not. Seems consistent to me.

I clicked "Its a moral sin" just before I realized the the "...to be homophobic" my subconscience attached at the end probably was meant as a "...to be homosexual" instead. Oops.

I agree, but remember - you be 'weirded out' if a heterosexual couple started talking about what they get up to after hours.

Being gay isn't all about sex. Too many people think about that when they first hear the word.
Hmm, good point. Thank you Sir.

I would like to answer no, since I really don't care about the sexual preference of anyone, but seeing 2 guys kiss makes me uncomfortable, so I'm going with "a little". They could be my best friends if they didn't do it in front of me, but if they do, it grosses me out a little.

And yes, I'm only uncomfortable with 2 guys, not 2 girls, so I guess I'm with your stupid friends.

But as far as saying "it's ok" or "it's wrong", I'm not homophobic in the slightest, if you had to put me in a political standing, I would be with the ultra liberals. It's just a physical reaction I have with 2 guys, not something based on reason.

I honestly don't mind what a person's sex life is, but whatever it is, I want them to KEEP TO THEMSELVES!

no.

I do dislike the feminine gay.
I can't stand those people, and WHY does my sister keep bringing those to the house!

Not at all - Although I hate public displays of affection with all people. Straight, gay or lesbian - Don't make out in front of me, it's rude.

Although I do hate people who act differently from their own gender, metrosexual men, for example - Not because I'm overly macho, but because it creates a false image of gay men that isn't correct, and increases homophobia because of it. Gay guys are just guys who are gay.

Crowning moment of heartwarming right here.

I personally don't really know any gay guys or lesbians though I know a couple of bisexuals. I have no problem with them and no problem with homosexual PDAs anymore than heterosexual ones.

I admit I was a bit uncomfortable when a guy hit on me in a club once, but more because I had no idea how to react and I probably would've had the same reaction if a girl I wasn't attracted to had hit on me.
