Poll: Are you on the fence about Starcraft 2?

Nope not on the fence. Have zilch interest in it. Although I did read one of the novels and found it interesting, I am not interested in fighting with the wife over the PC and I am not interested in an RTS. The commitment required to play it well doesn't sit well with me either.

My computer is too crappy to play Starcraft 2, if I had a good enough computer then I'd be out there standing in front of a computer store right now waiting for the midnight launch (or I would have pre-ordered it, either one).

So far, it's an RTS, nothing has been enhanced from what I've read, now it's a really well executed RTS, which might be worth the price. Considering I'd only play it for the single-player stuff, I'm waiting for a, "X hours for single player" to make the call if it's worth it.

My option is a combination of two of those. "Yes I am, but I already pre-ordered it." See, my friends will all be playing it and pretty much everyone else who has ever had a PC. So despite how much Warcraft III really wasn't my cup of tea (seriously, I don't understand how anyone can play that crap), I'll be giving this a shot.

I am buying a (custom made) pc just for this game (and star wars, but sadly that comes out later ) hopefully it'll still be in stock when I get the pc, as I haven't pre-ordered it.

I pre ordered the game but ended up cancelling my order.

I watched Husky's vid about the state of bnet2.0 and it sounded like another Modern Warfare 2 scenario and I'm not wasting my money again.

Nope, pre-ordered and shall be picking it up sometime tomorrow. Never really played the SC multi-player, but I liked the campaigns, and I enjoyed all the custom Warcraft 3 maps, so it really was a no-brainer for me.

I'm not a RTS fan. Really the genre hasn't progressed very far since Dune 2000. Last RTS I really liked was Battle Realms and it was still kinda meh.

I admit I'm a Blizzard fanboy but.. they do what they do well, they like what they do and up until now blizz only has great hits. They don't release a game if it's not up to their standards. I like all their franchises, Diablo, Warcraft and Starcraft all have original storylines and great characters, I for one am very excited to complete the campaign in SCII and see what they have in store for us.
