Nah MMOs are the scourge of the gaming world and i blame them for the decline in PC games development
MoP is the expansion that has made me quit WoW. I've taken breaks before, but yeah, I'm done with it now. I will always look back with fond memories of Burning Crusade and parts of Lich King.
GW2... meh. I played it, the soloing was ok, but I basically just felt like the grouping was completely devoid of any control. Felt like each person was basically just soloing, and his friends happened to just be in the same spot as him. I don't play MMOs to Solo, so I'm done with that too.
Meanwhile, the Planetside 2 Beta has been steaksauce, so that's still looking good.
And then TOR's going F2P, which might signal the time to go check out what's new since I shelved that a while back. Playing a trooper was awesome.

Guild Wars 2. I'm kinda new to MMO games. I started Star Trek Online a few months ago because of some friends, but quit because it was pretty bad. :S
It was free though, so that was a plus. And I liked some of the MMO mechanics, so I looked for a new game. GW2 seemed like a good candidate. I like the Warcraft lore, but didn't want to plow though such a huge franchise as WoW. So yeah, Guild Wars 2.

I have been playing gw2 non stop since it came out, & will continue. So awesome that we don't have to make monthly payments to keep playing.
