So according to my co-worker, he says zombies are trainable. I have to disagree with him on that one. The only function that they have is to feed and basic motor skills. he says thats all you need. What do you guys think. And im talking about ZOMBIES, not voodoo zombies, or shawn of the dead zombies. like Dawn of the Dead, resident evil....those zombies

No, they are mindless(As in, no real mind) beings who are in-capable of reason.

Your co-worker could be on to something.

I say we turn him into a zombie in the name of science.

Then forget him in the basement or something.

Well if the zombies in Shaun of the Dead are anything to go by then they'll be blundering through inflatable obsticle courses for our amusement in no time :)

Probably not. Besides even if they were, I wouldn't take the risk. You don't train lions for everyday purposes now do you? Its possible... its just that we don't, due to the offchance that it might decide to nomnomnom on our head.

I voted yes, but I meant no.
Animated corpses with only their carnal instincts driving them? Good luck training that.

So there republicans?!

Heyoo!

Okay, seriously though, your co-worker was probably talking about Voodoo zombies, since any other sort of zombie is either

A. Dead, it's braincells can't really porcess any other information other then "Kill and eat"

B. Infected, again, more focused on killing.

the one in day of the dead could, and seeing as george a romero invented that sort of zombie it stands to reason that if he says they can, that means they can

No they are not trainable in real world sense because the only thing on them is considered "alive" is the brain everything else is pretty much dead.
