I'm not insulted, but I don't think anyone who uses it is in a very good place. If you need to talk to girls so desperately, then clean yourself up and go find a way to meet them.

I do like the idea of a dating site run along this principle though. Match up couples for online games, and they can talk while they play. After the game, the couple can decide whether they want to meet up or not, depending on how the conversation went. You can date and grind your character at the same time. Thats gotta be a good thing for the single gamer.

From a gamer's point of view, yes it is insulting. Apparently we can't talk to girls outside of video games and we are willing to pay money (yes, MONEY) to do so.

On the other hand, from a "normal" point of view, I find it quite hilarious.

I don't really mind, people have been using dating websites/webcam sites for ages, and its sort of similar to that, isn't it now? Sex sells, people have been exploiting that fact for ages - this is no different.

Personally, I shant be using it, but there is no reason why someone shouldn't use it - why deprive a lonely gamer of some communication?
