Never heard of it until now. I'm not that insulted (it could be that I am a female and the site doesn't really seem to be directed at the gamer girl demographic). Don't like it, don't click on it that's what I think. It's sad, but there are people out there that are willing to pay the money.

I for one am embarrassed more then anything. If gamers are that fucking lonely they need a real woman with a working face to sit and play Halo with them... Then they need to get out of their basement and get some fresh air.

Ok So GameCrush went down yesterday due to a server overload (10,000 hits in 5 minutes) which obviously means it's publicity machine has worked, but really as gamers are we really that shallow? and so bad with the opposite sex that we need to pay GameHookers to come and help us spend time with them?

The Poll has been split out by Gender to give an idea of how each has reacted. I have not seen the site properly but assume that there is no option currently to rent GameGigolos for the ladies to play with

Yup... It's pretty pathetic, and I do feel quite offended by it. Talk about demoralising us and painting us out to be sad losers who struggle in real life relationships.
Although... sadly those figures seem to suggest we really are, which is even more depressing unto itself.

I'm married, and every gamer friend I have is either married or in a committed relationship of some kind. Gamers aren't bad with women. TEENAGERS are bad with women. It just so happens that those two demographics often coincide.

I'm pretty sure the point is for us to be insulted. IGN reported it first, a majority of gamers wouldn't use it, and if you actually check the site you'll notice it still isn't up yet. Smells like an April Fool's joke to me.

Embarrassed? No, Losing faith in Humanity? Yes. Has the opinion of male gone so low that this site was born out of it. Sure on paper they do have a good business model but still I'm more creeped out that people would pay for this than embarassed that it actually exists. Also, Penny Arcade summed everything up quite nicely.
