Is anyone getting excited for it, or did the first game kill any chances of hype for this one? It sounds cool, but then again, so did the first one. Details have finally started emerging as to your character, his abilities, the game structure, and setting, so I was hoping to find out if anyone is getting pumped for this one.

I believe the first one was a fun game that needed improving. I'm pretty pissed because I bought it and that game was definetly a rental. It's the exact same monologue every boss every time through. That hay pile thing needs to be fixed too.

I didn't get the first one.
I played it a few times and I don't understand what all the hate is about.

The first one was ok, I wished there was a free roam mode where I could kill innocent people without getting kicked out of the Animus, but whatcha gonna do.

Yay. Yay. Yay. Yay. Yay.

Its not often a game comes around that makes running around fun.

I couldn't wait for the first game, I personally loved it. I also can't wait for this one with stuff being improved upon already that I've been hearing about, like more jobs, or whatever you wanna call them, and the new weapons you can use. Plus the double hidden blades look super fly. I did the thing online, I just wanna know how to do the others.

You know...AC1 was one of those games I love warts and all. Yes, the side-jobs were repetitive and also annoying. Yes, a super-fly assassin with unbelievable dexterity who can't swim is a bit unbelievable. But there's something about the act of leaping down from a particularly high building and knifing some guy in the face that cancels out any negativity and just makes me want to give the game a great big hug. This is the sort of game that reminds me why I play games...sheer, mind-numbing entertainment. The details in the game were the kicker. Like the voices of the public saying "Why is he doing that? There's no logical reason for him to do that" whenever you climb a building in front of them. That tongue-in-cheek humor nesting side-by-side with stealth gameplay...yes. This is what I love in a game.

So all things considered, I'm pretty psyched about AC2. And if the jobs system has been reworked, I'll be thrilled. Of course, the cynic in me keeps whispering how you can't strike gold twice, and whatever flaws the new game fixes will soon be overshadowed by errors they should have avoided. But shush, right now I want to be an optimist. I think/hope this game will rock, and Ubisoft will be hearing from me if it doesn't.

Absoloute 'Yay.' The first game was imaginative and excellent, but did suffer from redundancy and being way too easy. If the developers can learn from the first Creed's mistakes, they can make this one a hell of a game.

Don't get your hopes up. I was yaying for the first one, turned out to be alright but too repetitive and lacked the spice that the developers promised.

You could, once you finished the game.

Anyway, after reading [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/9.106877#1763156] (shameless self plug) about the changes, I'm definitely excited. Hell, I'd be excited even if it was the same game with more boss monologes (I loved them), although it's clearly so much of an improvement.
