Amongst all the Skyrim hype we seem to have forgotten that there's another amazing game coming out tomorrow. Revelations, I'm sure, will be another GOTY contender and I'm curious about what people are excited for in the game. Personally I'm looking forward to finally getting some answers. The endings to both 2 and Brotherhood were major WTF moments and we should finally be able to understand it all after this. I'm also curious about how the hook blade will effect both how Ezio gets around and how he fights.

So escapists what are you looking forward to? Is there anything that's putting you off buying it? And for a little extra (even though it's been done before) who is your preferred assassin? I find Ezio more likeable but think Altair is the better assassin.

Preordered, game have taken the money and it was shipped last thursday... still havn't got it :(
if it doesn't turn up tomorrow I don't know what I'll do!

Oh and the hook blade is still a blade, the hook being about half way down the blade, he uses it to hook on to ropes strung between roof tops, and to climb quicker.

Bleh, I've only seen one good Literal trailer parody, and that was for Assassins Creed: Brotherhood.

Anyways, yes I pre-ordered it. Possible that it will be on my mail box in a few hours along with Skyrim. They sent it a couple of days ago. :O

GOT IT ALREADY, haha! Thank you faulty postal system!
Amen to that, mate. Been playing it since Saturday, and it's great; not that I'd have expected any less, mind you.

However, I do take issue with the "Desmond's Story" side missions. Yes, I like the extra character background, but the choice of presenting it via a first-person physics puzzle platformer with iffy controls was a definite misstep.

This will be awesome, I just know it. Oh, BTW, refreshing to finally see a game thread NOT about Skyrim.

Nope, I gave up on this a long time ago.
Apart from the pile of poop the PC versions are they went in a completely different direction then I wanted it, so not my thing anymore.

I'll probably buy it in a couple of weeks. I think AC:R, Skyrim & Saints Row 3 will keep me busy enough until Mass Effect 3 & Tomb Raider comes out next year.

I don't know, I kinda had a falling out with the Assassin's Creed series after they announced that this was going to be yet another game starring Ezio.

A cool character and all, but with a game like Assassin's Creed that literally has History as a setting, I'm still rather disappointed that they won't try some new time period.

That and the fact that I overcharged my debit card on Wendy's and it dipped into my savings.

I will get AC: Revelations on one condition...That it actually poses a challenge to me!!!!

God knows, I love the series but its just so damn easy I get bored before I can finish. All I wanted was an optional difficulty...is it really so much to ask, Ubisoft?

I'll definitely get around to buying it.

But I'm more looking forward to concluding Ezios story, and I'm probably even more excited to find out about the next assassin (Female?), setting (Asia?), and timeline (20th century?).

Agreed. I was kinda let down when I heard about Brotherhood, and very dissapointed when I heard about Revelations. I'm actually hoping/looking forward to Seeing him die, despite the fact that I love the character. We need confirmation ad proof that he's dead (nothing ambiguous where he "disappears" and is presumed dead. A decent stab through the heart, or death of old age would be good) before I let my hopes get too high about the next game.

I would be excited. That is if the PC version wasnt delayed as ussual.
I just got done checking GameStop's website and it says the 29th of November. A couple of days ago it said the 15th. I don't get it. Why would the publisher or developer decide to delay it a few days before the release? Has a reason been given as to why it was delayed?

Yeah I agree. He deserves to go down fighting in a battle or something, no cheesy 'he disappeared' crap. This is definitely the last one with Ezio and Altair though which is good.
