I would like to see just how many gamers actually aren't athletes. I suspect this may help kill the nerd stereotype or prove it stronger than ever.

I've participated in national volleyball pro-competition for years. I sustained serveral sport-injuries (dislocated shoulder, shin splints, broken rib etc.) and since then I work as a volleyball instructor for collage students 2-3 times a day.

Oh, that and I play videogames like 4-8 hours a day.

But! But!! What about old timers who play rec sports after they are out of high school and college? I played ice hockey for about 10 years after I graduated from college...

I voted that I never liked sports, but I did plenty as a kid. Baseball, Football, Soccer, water Polo, Hockey, Martial Arts.
Not so much in recent years. Guys I work with talk about going to the gym. I play video games.
Suffice to say, I don't really fit in.

Been jogging and weight lifting for a year or so. Never was very athletic in high school/university.

Pop it, lock it, put a latch on it, then check it (involves stroking chin).

Me and my friend do that every time we meet in university. Every. Single. Time.

And it's just grand.

Started training ju jutsu when I was 16. I'm 28 now, and still very much into it. I'm a 2nd degree black belt, and I've been instructing for several years.

I do floor hockey in the winter, and field hockey in the other seasons. I also played tennis as a kid, but it interfered with the hockey, so I dropped it.

I play rugby and football.

Football is usually only for fun with friends though, I don't play for a team, though I used to.

I play rugby competitively for my local team and for my school team. It's the sport I play most too, by a long way.

It would be more interesting to see how many athletic people aren't gamers, almost everyone plays some games now.
