OK, I'm seeing a lot of ozgameshop.com. I'm thinking about buying from there, is it all good?. Anyone have any problems? (I am way too suspicious of the internet)

EDIT: Turns out you can edit polls (derp). I'll add steam in so anyone who can be bothered changing can do so

Steam during sales, and ozgameshop the rest of the time.

Ozgameshop has been great for me so far, I've made 5 or 6 purchases and haven't had any trouble. Just gotta wait for the delivery.

EB because my younger brother is a manager there and he's usually able to hack off a fair wedge of the price for me, if it weren't for that I'd shop around a lot more

They are very good, usually get to you in around 6 working days, the longest I have waited is 12 days. I have not had an issues with them so far, apart from the 12 days waiting, but when you get games for half price or less it is well worth it, and free shipping and the bonus "Player points" are always good.
You get player points when you buy a game, and they add up and you can get discounts on games. They also sell a lot more then just games now.

I buy all my games from online Russian CD KEY stores, so that way I get all my games brand new for $25 each and I use a friends VPN to activate them...

If game devs/stores bring prices down to a respectable level (e.g. $60) ill buy the games properly (Like I did with with serious sam 3 and Portal 2)

I usually just buy from where ever the particular games cheapest, i brought skyrim from GAME because thats was the cheapest place that done preorders for it (plus you get 2 shitty novels)id say about,
1/4 GAME
1/4 Random stores (Kmart, Target, Big W etc)
1/2 EB Games

For the few games I deem worthy of a pre-order I go to JB-HI-FI. Other than that I get all my console games from Ebay (UK stores tend to sell new, be reliable and a heck of a lot cheaper than stores here. The games are still PAL so they work fine) and my PC games from Steam.

Thankfully there are nice people in the UK set up specifically to help us Australian gamers~! :)

When I buy console games, JB Hi Fi have the cheapest prices, hands down.

Even more so seeing as my girlfriend works there and gets things at cost price.

Awesome.

Steam for PC.

With all this talk of online retailers... I just realised that I don't actually have to wait until February for the MGS collection, just because they moved the Aus and UK release date.

Play-Asia has it now. Nice.

Mwave (online) and Steam.

The former might come a couple of days late for new releases, but for anything else it takes 1-2 days with free shipping.

Usually EB games. I don't see why anyone would go to anyone else when EB will price match other stores, that way you get it at the same price and you can return it within a week if it sucks.

Usually ozgameshop. Haven't screwed me over yet, have some nice prices, give me what is basically money towards my next purchase when I buy from them (Yeah, I have to buy about 4/5 games to get $5 off, but its better than nothing) and the only bad thing I've had so far is the shipping times.
Honestly I've probably bought more new release games off them in the last 6 months than I have ever bought at EB.

Online stores I doubt EB will price match. I generally don't buy a game unless I know its going to be good, so I've nothing to worry about with returning games, and online is so much cheaper its not funny.

Ozgameshop.com is reliable/legit from my experiences, but try to avoid buying from steam if it's obviously the australian version jacking up the prices. We need to send a message to the companies that it is NOT ok to charge $100 AUD for MW3 or Batman Arkham Asylum, its just plain old price discrimination.

Does it price match online stores like ozgameshop and play-asia? I've always wondered
