Poll: Avatar TLA: What bending would you want?

I'd probably go with Fire. Screw you guys and your matter, I bend pure energy. Even without being able to bend lightning (which would be useful), a clever fire bender would be able to do something interesting things with the right application.

Water bending intrigues me though mainly because of blood-bending. That would be incredibly fun to have.

Personality-wise, Earth. I'm stubborn and direct, and the fighting style seems to match up best with my own. Plus, who doesn't want to throw bloody great rocks at people?

I'd go with Earth. Screw fighting, just bend yourself some expensive metals and gems to sell and live the easy life. Simples.

Earthbending doesn't work like that, but you could use it to make the world your own Minecraft playground and get rich by selling any shiny stuff/coal you find.

Also, breathing underwater is awesome and healing is a completly underappreciated power. Healing is practicly a game-breaker.

I think air is the obvious choice, who doesn't want to fly?

But I would want to be a water bender. So my drinks will always be cold. I also just like it's style.

I'd go with water. I place a lot of hockey, and it would be awesome to just raise that ice the slightest bit and tripa player, then lower it so it never looked like it happened. Or if I could take a way the skate makrs and make the ice perfect to go across.

But also cause water is fluid, you're never in short supply, and you could do the most awful killing move by just robbing someone of the moisture in their body, or freezing it in them.

What I'd like to be: Fire. No more using a lighter to set fire to pieces of paper towel, I can shoot f**king lightning at stuff!

What I'd probably end up: Water. I don't have the stubbornness to bend Earth, and I don't plan on becoming a vegetarian, so Air is out. As much as I like setting fire to things, I can't see myself burning somebody else alive, and as Water seems to be the only style with healing capability, it's got my vote.

Besides, Fire-bending wouldn't give me the pleasure of Blood-bending someone off of a cliff, or flash-freezing icicles to skewer whoever looked at me funny.

EDIT: Seems like Water's winning the poll at the moment, with Fire doing the worst - Fire does seem to be a lot less versatile than the other elements.

Air, as you can combine it with otherpowers to quite lethal effect... you see the sand nomads making small tornados be bending the sand... well an air bender could do the same by picking stuff up with his own tornado... then sandblasting things to bare bones!

Or as has been previously mentioned suck the air out of someone, or throw them around so they can't bend anything themselves.

Maybe you can do the superman thing and make the air compressed enough to freeze water?

On a less bloodthirsty note... it would just be cool to fly, and effectively have general telekinesis.

However god aweful the live action movie was, it kept me laughing thanks to that bit of slang. "I could sense immediatly, that you are a great bender"
