BC2 was fun, and there are always epic moments happening by chance.

(A heli misses crashing into you by inches, the building your in begins to collapse and you jump out right on time, your driving and a tank slowly rounds the corner.)

It is also very team based, and strategic.

Just Cause 2 with Mods is literally the best thing ever.

c) because those members were banned from the forums, and everything's connected to your EA account - they have lost access to all their EA games as well.
Wait, a forum ban == a game ban? That's fucked if it's true. Doesn't seem to make any sense though (in before 'lol EA').

Ugh BFBC2 is so over rated by people who hated MW2. It is buggy, matches are slow, melee is ridiculous, gunplay is dull, vehicles feel ridiculous and the single player was rubbish

Just Cause 2 is a brilliant game with amazing enviorments, fun gunplay, briliant side missions, good difficulty curve and just amazing amounts of ridiculous fun

However BFBC2's online makes it last longer but I hated the multiplayer and would recommend COD4 before it any day

BC2 was a relatively intense shooter, with some decent character, voice acting and destructibility. Just Cause 2, you can jump from a helicopter and open our parachute fifty odd times on the way down until it glitches and you cannot close it, leaving you hundreds of feet in the air.

They both have their pros and cons, it depends on entirely what you prefer...considering they don't really have many similarities.

Yup. Because EA has decided to link everything together, your forum is on your EA account, your games are on the EA account. Ban the forum account = banning the EA account. Which also bans all your games.

EA is officially a division of Hell, and Satan is laughing! :p

Update on this... The only thing I've recently done with EA (since I've taken a month's break from the game) is raise a customer service support ticket to ask them to investigate the mod that's harrassing us. It's not even like I did it publically on the forums or anything! My EA account has just been banned. Therefore my games have been banned - fortunately, there's only the one (BFBC2) and I've given up on it! :p

BF2 sounds like it has alot of issues on the PC from all this. And the stuff about EA acting like dicks.... not cool.

What one do you guys think and if you feel like it, tell why.
You've given us no indication to what type of game you'd like better. We're not mind readers.

This is like someone asking if he should buy Zelda or Portal.
They're both puzzle games with mild combat elements!

Wow, I was trying to make this very same decision a week or two ago. In the end I chose Bad Company 2.

Hope you haven't opened the package yet... or you got it for the console!

Just buy Red Dead Redemption....everyone knows that's the best sandbox out right now, and it has competitive and co-op multiplayer. It's win/win/win.

Having never played Bad Company 2, I'd have to go with Just Cause 2.

Story, laughable. Repetitive missions, very much so. Hijacking boats and launching them into buildings, fun.

Well, do you want a more multi-player oriented experience or a single player oriented experience? If you can answer that question, then you'll know which one to pick. I've never played BC2, but from what I've seen, it's heavy on the multiplayer. On the other hand, JC2 is heavier on the single player(multiplayer nonexistent).
