When my friends are really bored[footnote]and I'm talking about long road trip, played all the CD's we have, done discussing other things bored.[/footnote] a topic that eventually comes back up is that of showers or baths. A few of my friends are ardent shower guys while others (and myself) like the bathtub as the home for rubber ducky.

So friends, what is superior? Why? You decide!

[sub][sub]I don't buy into that whole sanitation thing some people have with bathtubs. We have immune systems for a reason people![/sub][/sub]

Showers, usually. I prefer how quick they are. Also, baths make me feel like I need to shower to get soap off anyways. So it saves time.

Now, if I'm relaxing, I like to run a warm bath, shower, and then lounge in the warm water.

Showers save water?? (Maybe, I don't know the statistics) I prefer showers cos...they are awesome. No other justifications. Just like I prefer pancakes over waffles. [que battle of epic proportions with waffle fanatic]

To get clean, shower. Just generally quicker is all.

To relax, a nice, warm bath. Such a good way to relax.

That was a battle in a different thread my friend. To each his own.

I just don't like the sensation of a shower as much as I do a bath.

Definitely shower. When it comes to bathing, there's room for either me, or the water.
And, well, they tried to make me go to rehab, I said, "No, no, no"

They serve different purposes. Showers are for getting clean, baths are a way of relaxing. Having a daily bath just seems impractical. I also feel uncomfortable just sitting there naked, submerged in water. I'd rather scrub myself, rinse, then gtfo to put some pants on.

Both?

Where is your option for both!!! Damn you Redlin! D:<

If I have no where to be, you'd better believe I'll soak in that bath like a bawss. I put so many bubbles in there that you can't see my head! I'll take a nap in my soapy bliss and wake up an hour later wondering if I survived the apocalypse!

And you get the idea with that.

On the other hand. If I have a time limit, say I gotta be somewhere in the next hour, or I need to get washed before everyone else in the house starts queueing at the door, I'll jump into that shower wearing my towel as a cape! I'll be in and out so fast my body will be like "What the hell, did we even get clean?".

Both are good!

I haven't had a bath in more than a year. I guess I stopped finding a point in them. Personally I'm more of a shower guy, quick and gets the job done.

I'd have to go with showers. I live in the middle of fucking nowhere and we have this huge bath, and it's amazing, but showers are so much more convenient.

Pretty much what this person said although showers are much more my preference if given the choice.
