Know that feel broParadiseOnceLost said:I shower only. It is not because I have any qualms about the cleanliness of bath it is because I am 6 feet tall and weigh over 220 pounds so I really can't fit inside the bath tub I currently have. Last time I tried it was just plain uncomfortable.
That's a good point. When I talked about showers for cleaning and baths for relaxing, I failed to mention that I usually only make use of this relaxation to get rid of severe headaches or, on more rare occasions, body aches from working out.Spaghetti said:999 times out of a 1000 I'll shower. But on that 1000th occasion I might take a salt water bath for medicinal reasons.
That's another good point many people who don't like the idea of being in a bath at all should discuss their thoughts on jacuzzis and hot tubs, as many people may not immediately realize that as it is not swimming it's similar to bathing for relaxation.Rowan93 said:I voted "shower only", but that applies more to my habits than my actual opinion. I mostly don't have baths anymore because I'm too tall to fit comfortably in the tub, and would really like a nice big thing like a jacuzzi but those are of course silly-expensive.
shower, then long bath, then rinse again after, LUXURIES ! that's how I roll ... on weekendsDaystar Clarion said:In baths, you're essentially stewing in you own filth.
They're damn relaxing, but I never really feel that clean after one and they're far too time consuming.
For me, nothing can beat a hot shower after a stressful day, I love the sound, I love the steam.
That's what I'm talking about. It makes you feel awesome if you're tired, and pretty much seems to erase headaches.Kragg said:shower, then long bath, then rinse again after, LUXURIES ! that's how I roll ... on weekends
