Poll: Bayonetta, Disgaea, or Final Fantasy XIII

I've been waiting for the Swedish release of Final Fantasy XIII lately, but then a few friends of mine told me both that Bayonetta was a game well worth buying and that Disgaea 3 would propably be the greatest thing I'd ever buy (might just have been a hype from his side).

Only having money to buy one or maybe two of the games, I'd like to know what you think? Which one of the three should I buy?

Disgaea 3 is a riot! I recommend that game to anybody who isn't a complete JRPG hater.

I disagree with getting Bad Company 2. Tried the beta, unless they have some significant changes with the official release, not worth it. More frustrating than any other fps I've played.

I'd get FF13 since you have been waiting for it. Or if prices of the other games have dropped go for those and pick up the others when they do so as well.

I would definitely not get bayonetta, especially with GoW3 coming out soon. If you like that genre of game, it will probably be a much better choice.

Unfortunately, the ps3 version of bayonetta is horribly done so unless you have a 360 just wait until ff13 comes out. Disgaea 3 should be cheap now considering its been out for a long time so maybe you could get both.

I just realised that I've actually never seen Disgaea 3 in stores here in Sweden. Might have to check that out when I go downtown to take the bus home. Also I've been hearing a lot of bad things about Final Fantasy XIII. Is that just from people who wish that Square'd go back to doing old-school style FF games?

There's something important you haven't told us and that is what your personal tastes are. If you like turn-based strategy games then Disgaea 3 is your best bet. If you like action games that are high on fanservice then Bayonetta is your woman. If you like final fantasy XII or are just a very patient person then get FF13. If you like all of these then you're in quite the pickle.

Edit Edit: Screw the pirate Disgaea thing. Atlus (or was it Nippon Ichi?) isn't doing too well at the moment and I don't want to help make it worse.

Ah yes, I ropably should have written about my personal taste. I play and enjoy pretty much games of every genre (even though I'm terrible at most of them), though at the moment i'm weighing towards FFXIII. I enjoyed XII even though it made a weird turnaround in gameplay, so might at least give XIII a chance. I'm going to look in stores for Disgaea and perhaps buy it when I get more money

Ok from an admittedly obsessives point of view get disgaea3 then if you have a psp go on psn and get disgaea 1 and 2 obviously only if you like 3 fortunately the stories aren't linked so apart from a few of the recurring characters meaning nothing to you you wont miss out on much. while 2 and especially one are simpler than 3 they are still great fun if you like that kind of thing and if you like sidescrollers keep an eye out for "prinny: can I really be the hero" or when they translate it 'prinny 2: the dawn of the great pants war" as hile it has a different gameplay style has the same sense of humour

Final Fantasy 13 gets my vote.

The story just sucked me in and it took the new Splinter Cell to completely break it's grip on me. It's a good game and it's a time consuming one, I've already logged 26 hours in on it myself. And this is coming from sombody who has never played a Final Fantasy game before in his life.

While Final fantasy and disgea are in the same genre they seem awefully different in there approach to almost. Well everything. And bayonette isn't even in the same genre Completely What sort of poll comparison is this?

Hmmm. What game to choose. No idea quite indecisive am I. I suppose I wouldn't buy any of them seeing as there release price is far too high usually. I'll probably buy a game I was either too busy to buy when it came out. Or was far to expensive when I was game hunting.
So in other words. Littlebigplanet for the psp.

ff13 or disgaea since bayonetta seems to be a buggy mess on the ps3 i'd go with ff13 since i've never played or been able to play the other one i only have a 360 well ps2 games are hard to find well the ones i want anyway


edit i only heard it was a buggy mess so i don't know for sure
