Yeah. I don't send them messages or friend request because they're a girl, and I don't see them any different to other gamers. I have female friends over Xbox Live, but only because of working well together in a game.

Although it does seem that girl gamers act differently to male gamers. They don't rage when you beat them, probably because they don't take it as seriously as some people.

No.

All those fucking retards getting sweaty palms because a girl's username popped up tends to just lead to me just leaving the game. Its creepy, and its fucking embarrassing for the rest of us who don't jizz in our pants when a real girl gets closer than 10 feet to us.

Yup,

All are equal through the scope of my rifle.

Having said that, I'm generally polite and well behaved online (generally). When people annoy me I tend to express that through in game violence rather than verbal abuse. You'll only see me being cheeky and rude on clan servers with players I know well.

Yes. I don't talk to them just the same as I don't talk to anyone except friends.

No I do not.

I'm ashamed to admit that buy I expect them to do perform better than their male counterparts and it's just because I met so many female gamers that were just exceeding the avarage by quite a large margin...

So sorry girls, if you have a vagina I expect you to kick ass at the game we are going to play, no special treatment.

An opponent is an opponent and an ally is an ally regardless of whether they have a Y chromosome or not.

Yes I do...but I hardly meet any because I'm terribly shy...
My sister is a gamer...so the whole concept of a gamer girl isn't that weird to me.
Games are fun, everyone plays games...what's the big deal?

yes, I treat girls differently then guys... but not worse; better. I uphold a strict code of ethics that puts me on the side of anyone who isn't a white christian middle class american male. which, with the exception of my religion, I am... sure, makes me a hypocrite, screw you. I treat girls better because guys are dicks.

PROOF:
I was playing a mutiplayer server of an old fps, where most of my team was from the same all girl clan, we were losing due to inferior strategy, and a broken map (everyone knew the map was broken, it was just too much fun to not play) some dick on our team kept bitching that we were loosing due to the c--ts and s--ts he was playing with. I told him to stop a couple of times, he just responded by calling me a f-g, so I spent the rest of the time he played on that server, teamkilling him. sure I took a huge dip to my standing, but he was being a jerk. once he quit, we went 15 and 0.
Now I'm the only guy in an all girl clan.

I'm still not 100% convinced they exist.

But honestly. I don't care enough to treat anyone differently from anyone else.

Both the girl gamers on my friends lists are actual friends in real life, I've not really met any others and spoken with them.

Usually yes. Although I find it extra hilarious when I girl gets pissed off and screams at the game. I don't know why, but it's just funnier then seeing a manchild do it. Its more of an "awh how cute" than a "what a tool" moment.

The fact that this thread even exists is pretty disrespectful to women in and of itself. I'm not a 'girl gamer', nor am I a 'grrl gaemr', 'gurl gamr', or any absurdly misspelled combinations of the words 'girl' and 'gamer'. I'm just a person who plays video games. Anybody who puts an asterisk next to that because I sit down to take a piss needs to grow the fuck up and remind himself that it isn't fucking 1955 anymore.
And? I'm a male gamer, since I'm male, and I game. I'm also a male fanfic writer, which are rarer than a game-playing girl. I see no insulting intent there. It's a simple description.

No. I treat them better. I might shout arseholenoobishidiotgaykid to everyone else. But I will always show kindness to the ladies. I wont call them gay. Or arsehole. Maybe noob and idiot. But thats the line!

Yeah, I do. They corpse-hump me, I'll do it back. SIMPLE AS THAT BIZNITCH!

No, but really, I do. I've plenty of girl-friends (As in female friends, not intimate companions) in real life who I play online with. I bro-talk with them as much as I do with any male mates.

I try to be a respectful and dignified playmate to whomever I play with online, to the point where I verbally beat down ANYONE who uses homophobic or racist slurs online regardless of the pitch of voice. I try to be a better gamer and lead by example

Yeah. Duh. Why would I treat them any different than anyone else? A knife here, a shotgun there...casual banter if we're up for it. Offline it's even easier--because they're my friends.
