Since the poor hairdresser apprentice shaved off my sideburns while I was distracted by the pool of blood on the ground, I need to regrow it. I aim to be like Adam D!

im a rare person who looks best in stubble. ive had a huge beard and shaved clean looks. stubble just looks best

I find that too. When it's about the length that you could light a match on. But I get lazy and it grows like hell, I keep it off the cheeks and under lip though.

Got an epic Viking Beard going on just now - shaving since you were 12 might have that effect on you though.

On a side note- I did wish, as a small child, after seeing an old man in a tank top (his back hair was tufting out from under the shoulder straps) that I never got a hairy chest/back.

Got my wish.

It's nice having both a hairy chest and back - keeps you nice and warm. Back on topic - I have enough hair on my face to qualify as a beard, it's just not connected. I'm rockin' a nice thick goatee with some kick-ass mutton chops. Both of which I've had since I was 15.

Well, I can grow one and did have one for a short period in my life. However, my mustache was weak and so was the stuff on my chin. SO I shaved those off and retain a sweet pair of muttonchops.

I've had a beard since I was 17, only shaved it off a few times for work related stuff, but I trim it down to a smart level every month or so.

I have a pretty bad-ass beard.
And it grows naturally into a goatee-ish style.
I trim it down occasionally, because my peers get intimidated by its overwhelming presence.

Really don't know what response to choose. I don't have a beard now, have had one in the past, might have one in future but really ive never "grown" a beard Ive just not bothered shaving for a while.

If I have a beard its always been through lack of effort/care not cause I think beards are cool.
