I have a pretty terrible neck beard, so I have to shave the bottom half of it almost every day. Not substantial, especially since I trim it once every couple of weeks, but it's definitely there. I want a big fluffy one at some time in my life.
It takes me 3 hours to get a 5 o'clock shadow so after 2 days have gone by I pretty much full stubble and neck beard. Give it a week and it's huge. Give it a month and it's epic.
I once went 5 months without shaving and that was awesome. But eventually I had to rejoin the working class and be a contributing member of society so it's gone, though I always have a goatee. (I look like I'm 15 without it)

I used to rock a goatee/beard, depending on how often I felt like shaving. Had to get rid of it for a job interview. They didn't hire me, so, looks like I killed my first-born son for no reason. Those b*stards.
Genetics mean I can't grow a full on beard...yet another reason I have to hate nature! However, I can grow a pretty decent goatee/'stache combo, except the sides don't fill in, bah.
However, I still look better like this than I would clean shaven. Stupid thing really, I could go for a white collar job which pays marginally better than my current one, but for health and safety reasons guys must be clean shaven everyday, so I've said hell no and have stayed where I currently am.

I actually change my style of beard every year, if for no reason than fucking around too much.
Right now I'm rocking the "Unshaven comboy" look à la Dex Garrit, though in a few months I'll get a new one.

i've been going for the Mattias Nelsson type of beard only if i could get someone i know to pleat it the it would look almost like it apart from it bein' brown not blond
My friends are all jealous of my facial hair, considering they can't grow any yet, makes me and my goatee/stubble feel awesome... well awesome-er really.
I can't grow a full one yet, but you bet your bottom dollar I shall be when the chin and cheeks fill in. I have, however, been rocking bushy sideburns ever since they appeared (thankfully that was the first of my facial hair, almost fully formed from the start).
