The only thing I can say is that you shouldn't be causing all that drama. I went through that stage briefly and now I deeply regret it. Now I want to go to a great college and I lack the fundamentals to pursue that goal effectively. Playing catchup is no fun.

Suck it up and give them the satisfaction of you listening to them although it irritates you so. Use that potential you have. Don't be so immature. I'm just trying to save you the trouble of wasting your life. Sorry I have to try and lecture you even when I don't even know you.

My parents freak out when i dont get the best of grades but its not because i'm smart, nor was i ever realy smart, but because both my older sister and brother went to very good colleges. I'm not my siblings nor will ever be as good as them.

Oh my! I do believe I wish to be gifted in everything so my life seems so boring! *Sarcasim* Really. Working for it is the only way to fill the time.

I'd rather be good at something through hard work and diligence. I'm the kind of person who likes to know the how and the why of something working, and if you're just gifted at that something, you may miss out on the how and the why of it.

...If that makes any sense.

The thing is, work ethic and detication will more likely get you far in life, but its the gifted and diligent people who are the stars of the world.

But really, I don't have much of a choice in the matter between the two, do I? Of course, part of my giftedness is being a conceptual thinker, and that's sometimes more trouble than its worth...

PS. whats a million times a million? no cheating! (just testing, lol, I'm only doubtful because nobody that intelligent could like anime, as I assume from your avatar)
What's hard about that question?
Nothing, it's called humour. I'd explain the subtleties but it would clearly be wasted on you.

Life is strange for me I have been accepted into the gifted program but I am also in the learning disabled class.
so I have access to everything I could ever need in school.
most people wont hate you for being gifted thou.

I could see where you were trying to be funny, but I would've assumed that you would have actually asked an intelligent question to complete the joke. Sorry.

Not to brag, but a lot of people call me really intelligent. However, it's not something you are born with in my opinion though. All you got to do is to be disciplined in the classroom and prioritise your studies at home...

i choose intelligent
being intelligent is a great thing

as being gifted you cant realy ask what you want as if technicaly a turd wraped on tin foil with a red ribbon on it constitutes a gift

to me being called gifted sound like an euphemism for retard

Holy crap I tied it 87-87. Anyway I voted intelligent. It just seems better, and more natural. That way you "deserve" being smart more. Though I guess it's okay if you're "gifted." But then you're closer to being a "freak."

Being gifted can be a double edged sword. Success can only come with hard work, no matter how gifted you are at some point you are going to have to put in, if everything has always come easy to you that point will hit you like a brick in the face.
I was 17 before I'd ever had to do work outside of class and I struggled through year 11 and 12 a lot more than my mates who had consistantly studied and worked for there grades in earlier years. That's not to say I did badly, just that doing the required work was a massive effort because I was so used of getting As without doing much more than turning up.

For that reason I would say intelligence is more worthwile, unless being gifted is coupled with being really stubborn.
