Poll: Being Intelligent vs. Being Gifted

Beyond physical things like Savants, there's no such thing as being "gifted". It's just a mix of effort, and how you were brought up to precive things.

People make fun of me/hate me for it either way, so since gifted is the easier option, I'd go for that one.

I am gifted. It's not as great as you might think. Sure everything is easy to begin with, but once you get to the hard stuff you have no work ethic, and are more likely to give up. At that point you either have to teach yourself a work ethic and fast, or fail.

So I'd rather be intelligent.

Nobody has ever hated me for being smart, but perhaps thats just because I'm so charismatic. *wink*

I'm both intelligent AND gifted!

I'm gifted in some areas, in others I'm intelligent.

To say that a gifted person doesn't have to work is a crock, malarkey, and bollocks.

I'm sort of both, because I have quite a high IQ, but I work hard to become more intelligent, too.
