Well..... It looks awesome, but in the trailers it says stuff like "Violence, sexual themes" etc.

Understand?
No watching trailer dose not make it a good game im not saying its not an 18+ im saying how can you compair it to other games when no one has played it yet?
It looks good. But if it sucks then shame on me.

Im just a little confused that your dad is willing to buy you an 18 rated game, hell while he's at it why not a stack of bongo films and a pack of smokes.

Why not just get a decent game why be so focused on it being an 18, that dosnt make it good.
It's my only chance to get an 18 rated game in my whole entire life. except when i'm 18 myself.

ahaha, clearly in your whole entire life. M rating does not make a good game. The only reason you want an M rated game so bad, is because you're 13, and the violence gets you going.

No, let me explain. GTA IV has some awesome multiplayer, san andreas is considered by some to be the best game ever, gears is some good action with awesome multiplayer, bioshock is an awesome first person shooter, dead rising has a great concept, ninja gaiden 2 looks awesome, and far cry 2 also looks awesome, with great multiplayer and an awesome map creator.
Do you understand?

Perfect Dark (Why the fuck that got an 18 I will never know). But out of the last two generations, BioShock.

Why does it have to be an M rated game? The only game I've ever played that I really liked that was rated M was the Orange Box. All of my favorite games; Metroid Prime, Mario Galaxy, Brawl, Super Mario RPG, Tales of Symphonia, etc. were all Teen or under.

Rating says nothing about the quality of the game.

My favourite 18 rated game was on the playstation 2. It was called Cold...um...cold something. It was by Swordfish studios (odd, I remember the developer but not the name of the game. Its sitting not 3 feet from me in a drawer, but I'm too lazy to get it out.

It was basically like an 18 rated Goldeneye without the James Bond license, so they substituted ex-SAS/SIS dude. I thought it was absolutely awesome. Story was good, although the last level was a bit 'cloud base/hollowed out volcano, there was a couple of levels a bit like the escape from the KGB HQ in goldeneye, plus the obligatory middle east levels, a snow level like goldeneye too. Acting was good for a videogame. I rate it. If I could get it on the PC I would.

EDIT: Got it! Cold Winter! Seriously, I prefer it to CoD4, I wouldn't say it was a better game as such, but it's more my style. Its like Goldeneye. But with head explodey! And arm and leg rippy offy! And proper swearing delivered with and english accent. And some nice plot twists. Well, not so much a plot twist as, ooh, nasty, didnt see that coming...

PS Apologies for the poor grammer, post written by stream of thought.

EDIT 2: Actually, no, fuck it, it is a better game, I'm going to hook up my old Playstation 2 now and have some molotov lobbing, lockpicking, sneaky sneaky head explodey fun.

bongo films
Is that what the kids are calling it these days? :/

Anyway, OP: I think I understand your point, even if I think it is a bit silly. I would recommend GTA 4 or Dead Rising. Perhaps Bioshock, but I haven't played it so I really shouldn't say anything about it.

Bioshock is epic.

But I agree with these others, really you're better off with another game, few of those that you've listed are some of the best games to spend your money (or your dad's) on. The lower rated games are invariably a lot better. Mainly cos there's so many of them.
