And I don't like restricting myself to genres, I like good music, if that's an answer enough ^^

I can't say i have a favorite band. To be a favorite band i have to like 90% of their songs. And the only one that i do is Hilltop Hoods but i don't like them THAT much.

But also i don't have a favorite genra. I like Punk, Metal, Rcok, Undergroun Rap, Country, i like pretty much everything.

Band of the Year Award goes to Spinnerette because I adore Brody Dalle <3.

I'm curious if you feel that the Spinnerette stuff really compared favorably to the old Distillers stuff.

Honest question, the first single turned me off so much that I really haven't gotten around to checking out the whole album yet. I really should though. I've just been broken hearted by too many bands as of late.

Well, I think you can't really compare The Distillers with Spinnerette because they're pretty different styles of music. You can clearly hear Josh Hommes influence on Spinnerettes stuff and since I'm a big Queens of the Stone Age fan it doesn't bother me at all. So in conclusion, I love both, The Distillers' dirty Street Punk and Spinnerettes catchy Alternative Rock.
