Erm...Jimi Hendrix Experience anybody?
I suspect he's disqualified on the grounds the poll is for British music.
Hahahahahahahahahahhahahahaha, I cant believe how funny this comment is. Subtle and yet I bet that guy is reeling from the sting. :D
No, i'm not reeling, considering the Jimi Hendrix Experience was formed in LONDON and the only non - English member was Jimi Hendrix

EDIT: forgot to add that Jimi spent so much time in Britain and loved the country so much that he might as well have been British

Come on man, it was funny. :D

Also it doesnt matter if he liked the country he was American, it wasnt a British band and they werent better than Iron Maiden. For example, I like eggs but I am not of the avian species. Also, he set foot on British soil in September 24th, 1966 and died on September 18th, 1970 which is not long enough to claim citizenship.

Yeah, it was pretty funny but i'm standing my ground and saying they're a British band.

Noooo, the band was completely about their lead. It is an American band as they focus on him completely.

Where the fuck is Black Sabbath? Or any of that classic British Metal? "Other" implies I'm not specifically talking about Sabbath, which is completely unacceptable. Same with Maiden! Although I'm willing to let Sabbath be the stand in for them and Priest.

I would've had Hendrix, but there wasn't enough space. Also Hendrix himself was American, the band was british.

Maiden didn`t relase their first album till `80
They formed in the 70s and their demo was recorded in the 70s.

Other wise, where is Judas Priest and Motorhead? This list needs some serious work.

I think I'm still hallucinating off the tab of LSD I did last night or you haven't put Black Sabbath on that poll. I hope the former is true. Otherwise Black Sabbath kicks the ass of every other band up there.
