I have to say any cutscene from DMC 4 is just amazing.

and the intro to Left 4 Dead

and Dynasty Warriors 5

Well, the Gamecube had Eternal Darkness, so I'll plump for that one. The voice acting was terrific and the scenes very well directed.

My favourite cutscene is on Saint's Row 2,

where that samurai guy for the Ronin gang attacks Johnny Gat's house.

That is just epic...

Saints Row 2 cutscenes are indeed thoroughly excellent. But my personal pick of them is the:-

End of the Ronin where that guy is pinned to the ship by a sword and you call up Mr Wong.

And the time you crash the concert and beat the crap out of the singer dude on the stage.

I don't have a favourite cutscene, but my most hated are all the cutscenes in Gears of War 2, they annoy me to no end.

That's odd, because I thought the cut scenes were fantastic. The intro cutscene in number 2, and the one where the Raven gets shot down in number 1 in particular. They're pretty epic. Why did you find them annoying?

Also, the +1 to the Left 4 Dead intro.

The best cutscene I've ever seen was on the GC when I was playing MGS: The Twin Snakes. The Hallway scene.

Either that or the airport cutscene from DDS 2.

I would say that my favorite though is when you fight sin for the first time in FFX and he is all getting attacked by all the people....good stuff

Best cutscene, very tough dunno how to decide.

The MGS4 one at the end of Act 3. Love that cut-scene. Not sure if it's the best though.

MGS3 has loads of great ones, in particular the Fury post-battle one, the torture scene, The Boss post-battle one... too many to mention really.

Jak 2, 3 and X had some great cut-scenes, many of which were pretty funny.

The one in Rogue Galaxy where you get on the ship for the first time is pretty awesome.

God of War has some great ones such as getting onto Kronos and the one where he gets coated in ashes. And in 2 the one near the start just before you enter Hades is amazing.

Valkyria Chronicles has some great ones and the intro cut-scene for Vagrant Story is still excellent. I guess Final Fantasy VI and VII deserve a mention for their intro cut-scenes.

Honestly there are so many games with so many great cut-scenes that I just can't choose one.
