Those were my thoughts exactly but N64 won in the end... those were when video games were video games. /oldtimer speech

4. Genesis and SNES have given me an infinite amount of fun, where as the new games are one interesting idea that distracts me for a few minutes after the next.

Very true, wow were old...not to mention games were 60-70 dollars back then and we didnt whine like these yougins.
And we had to walk bare-feet to the closest bus stop IN THE SNOW* to just see if the game was in stock. And we were GRATEFUL for the opportunity.

*That's right it snowed in California in the good old days.

This is basically an age poll by proxy.

Younger folks will pick ps2 generation. Older folks will pick SNES generation. These two options WILL garner the most votes-- thats my prediction, but the younger leaning crowd here will result in the last generation voting as number 1.

Even though we all know it was the snes generation.

I had the most fun during 6th actually, but who knows, as far as I am concerned 7th still has a ways to go so it might prove itself. I am not that attached to nostalgia (yes, I grew up with NES, SNES, and N64).

....The N64 began in 97. That's nothing.

This one. Nostalgia is great and all but seriously, shit just gets bigger and better... well... unless you're nintendo.
