Star Trek: The Next Generation.

You know it, you love it... Patrick Stewart. Win is undeniable.

I started off with an Atari 7800 and I think we've bade progress. Although I'm primarily a PC gamer, I still think the later consoles are better.

Clearly my generation even The Who were "talkin' 'bout my g-g-g-generation"

OT; 5th generations, N64 all the way. And the PSone was pretty cool as well. Never had anything earlier (where does the game boy colour come into this or is that not technically a console)

EDIT; changed 6th to 5th

What? PC doesn't exist or something? Gen 3-5 were the golden age, after that it mostly went downhill...

Since I grew up with the N64 and never bought a PS2/3 or Xbox/360, but instead went with the Cube/Wii (I was a Zelda whore..or well, I still am, but I'm not gonna throw away my money on a new console for a single game), which frankly sucked, I'll have to go with the 5th gen. And something really awesome is that one of my sisters recently was in Thailand, and while there bought four new N64 controls! So it's awesome playing on it again.

Generation 5 was when 3D gaming really took off. The first console I played on was a Nintendo 64.

It's not a big stretch of the imagination to guess which one I picked.

I was born in the mid 90s, so I'd have to sa the 6th generation. Only games I played in the 5th, was Super Smash Bros and Pokémon Colosseum.

During the 6th genreation I played the hell out of Jak 2 and 3 and tested the physics enginge with burnout 3.

Voting for this hurt me. i wanted to vote for Genesis, and for N64. but overall i'd say the most, shall we say 'revolutionary' generation besides generation 1 was 6

Generation 7, because it's the only console generation I've really played much. I'm more of a PC kinda, although my Mum says the ZX Spectrum is the greatest console ever.

Generation 7, because I can play today's games as well as most of the good ones from previous generations.
