Definitely. It was the Katana that made it for me though.Joeshie said:Going with Vice City. It definitely had the best atmosphere.
Actually, i couldn't even beat the first mission in SA for some reason. So i just inputed a cheat code that lowers my wanted level permanetly and flew over the border in a car for 800 miles.Darth Mobius said:The dildo in the Police showers first appeared in Vice City, which had a much better mix of music, wasn't so expansive that I just said "Fuck I hate driving on this game," but still was big enough that I didn't get all pissed off that I did everything in one place... Although, the addition of the monster truck was a VERY nice feature, as were a lot of the other mini-games... Hell, I loved driving the train around... that was an excellent mini-game... But San Andreas was just TOO LONG for me. With way too much of it spent on TRANSIT times... The only thing I liked about transit times was when I had the Harrier and could fly anywhere... Other than that, Vice City had more replay value as far as re-beating the game... Shit, now I want to play again...Jumplion said:Hey, calm down. Don't expect a reply right away even though there are some people online.
Due to the fact that i've only played San Andreas and 4, i'd have to say SA because it's a bit more crazy (dildo in the police showers anyone?)
Of course, in my defense, I don't have 4, or a system that will play 4, so I imagine it is better than both...
I do admit I loved the added ragdoll physics, but the game was nowhere as nearly good as San Andreas or any other past GTA game.PurpleRain said:I don't see how people can vote anything but GTA4?! Every time I play it I have a huge grin on my face. Everything is much more beefier. Ramming a car into a person or wall actually feels painfull and capping people in the lags as they run has never been more fun. The rest were mostly a yawn a minute in my eyes (except for GTA2).
Country side is a Dumb Idea?Uskis said:I'm totally confused here.. San andreas colourfull?? It was the most dull gray/brown colour scheme to be used in any of the games. You're not thinking about Vice city are you? I never liked San Andreas. When I was flying over Area 51 with a jetpack trying to steal a UFO or something, the series game completely died for me.JOE COOL said:I personally think San Andreas was the better game due to it having alot more open space and was alot longer and more colorful (I'm not gay) then GTA 4.
EDIT: Oh yeah.. this too:

To me it comes down to either vice city or 4. The reason i loved ice city is because I loved the atmosphere. It felt good driving around, and i knew the city pretty much in and out at the time i had finished it. I even continued to play with it after i completed the main storyline, driving around listening to the talkradio. I haven't completed 4 yet, so I can't really say yet. It's a lot different, so the comparison isn't gonna be easy. I like 4 because of the characters, the soundtrack (Best ever) and the more realistic look. Time will tell if I'll still hang around Liberty city after i'm done, but I'm guessing 4 is going to be my favorite. Too early to say though.
