I've only seen G gundam, which is apparently completely different to the others. I keep meaning to watch Wing, though, it sounds like my thing... Oh, and G Gundam is totally worth watching. It's the most cheesy anime I've ever seen, but in a good way. It's a legendarily awesome kind of cheesy. Like, Capitan Falcon cheesy.
I watched some of the shows when I was a kid...

from a storytelling perspective, Turn A gundam, G gundam is worth watching for being rediculously awesome however, not sure what to say about 00, the first season is great, but the second season...not so much.

i liked 08th ms team as well, it was like the complete opposite of seed destiny, in that the wide eyed idealism and poor decision making skills of the protagonist led to things getting worse rather than miraculously turning out for the betterArkvoodle said:

I watched most of the Series. Plenty of Likes and Dislikes. But I believe I should go with 00, it left the biggest impression on me, but ofcourse, that could relate to the fact it is the most recent, finished series.
Gundam Unicorn, AMV that is airing now every 6months is good, but I don't like the drawing style, not my thing. [sub]Yes, this section is for the nuubs trying to prove me that 00 is not the most recent one.[/sub]

NOSTALGIA FOR GUNDAM WING! But it gets kinda boring and drags on after the first half.
I would suggest you watch Gundam 00 since it's basically a newer Wing, only better and with two seasons each with 25 episodes instead of one long story that really should've stopped after 30.

Gundam00 is an HD reimagining of Gundam Wing...sort of. It borrows a lot of the same themes as Wing, but I don't think it has the same sense of scale. Really cool though, both seasons. They used to show it on Sci-Fi- Channel, but I'm not sure if they do anymore. Also, I am a huge fan of the OAV Mobile Suit Gundam: 08th MS Team. Any Gundam fan that hasn't seen this short series should check it out. It's awesome!Boletes Net said:
Well, it's a long list. You could look it up somewhere. I'd recommend starting with one made after halfway through the nineties since that's when the individual series start. Before then they were all part of the same universe. I liked Wing, but to all newcomers I say 00.Lexodus said:

I amit Gundam Unicorn is amasing but since I never watch the past UC series, I have no ideas of certain stuff.

I will be honest, after starting with Seed, then going to Wing and 00, only to find that it all started in different timeline with Mobile Suit Gundam and Zeta Gundam: I ran to the UC timeline like a little Zabi prince would after seeing the Federation making a push to his little corner of the milky way.
I love the UC timeline, and its continuity. Wing comes in second for consistency, Seed - 3rd for doing a fine job of retelling the first half of MSG, with a decent second half (also, I hate lacus, I hate so very much).
Finally, Gundam 00, it's hate-love story. I hated the dialogues and the character designs. Their clothes were half-way some jpop boyz band and power rangers (I just couldn't take them seriously without the multi-colored and corny dialogues: I AM GUNDAM!), Hallelujah was a potentially decent character but didn't get enough screen or action time and was ... well ... a waste of space. While it had a decent story, the dialogues were dissapointing, there wasn't enough decent banter between the characters (guess that's what happen when you don't have a Char/Mwu on your crewship and you are stuck with angsty kids (lol feldt, talk you ... pinked hair wannabe cute girl). Ribonz was cool and evil, but the clothes man, .... the clothes!!! AAAAArgh, I can't bear it)
Unicorn is UC, so it's automatically good in my book. Not to mention the amount of detail in it, then again OVAs
