Poll: Best Gundam series?

G Gundam. I remember having all of the toys when I was a kid.

maybe gundam 00? the figurines are vastly detailed and the action scenes in the anime are brain meltingly awsome. the story in the anime is confusing like hell

G Gundam is a definite watch. It is different compared to all the others but the premise of the Tournament is pretty cool. The story is pretty awesome. Gundam Wing is pretty damn good also. 08th MS Team is also another good one. Basically what everyone else in this thread has said.

I really want to get into it; I've started by playing Dynasty Warriors: Gundam Musou and I really enjoyed the characters, and the fact that it's gigantic fucking robots in space. I like the big mechs in all of them, but the political and romantic plots... oh dear god are they sh*t.
But this is a standard anime thing, so if you fast forward to the fights then they are all awesome.

I've seen a couple of Gundam Seed episodes, but the only one I've watched in full was Wing. And I loved it (though it has been many years since I last saw an episode. I'll bet I'd hate it now).

I loved Gundam Wing and 08th MS Team, can't decide which was better.

But oh god did I hate Gundam Seed, too much emo teens and angst to be taken seriously. The only good part is flayy, one of the worst skanks and berkshire hunts in anime history, getting flayed at the end.

That show is one of the most underrated of all the Gundam Franchise.

Not to mention, the Char and Amuro's dynamic were great. Compared to -cough- Athrun or Kira, that particular scene where Char and Amuro met for the first time after the war in Zeta was just so nicely done in the zeta movie edition. "CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!!!!"
