blazing saddles ftw,
you are the third person I've seen with my avatar. Weird. Anyway, I agree.
"Does anyone have a dime? We're gonna need a @#$%load of dimes!"

Love them all, though.
Mel Brooks = Genius.

I liked the Princess Bride (yes, that was one of his) bu I just can't say no to Blazing Saddles.

"Hold it. Anybody moves and I'll blow this niggers head off."
He did the Princess Bride?!? Wow...I can't express how awesome that is.

Not to be rude, but I'm pretty sure you're wrong.

Yup, no mention anywhere of Mel Brooks having anything to do with tPB. Not listed under his Wikipedia page, either.

ANYway, I have a fondness for Young Frankenstein, but if you had to force me to pick just one, it would probably be Blazing Saddles...

No, wait...

Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: What knockers.
Inga: Oh, thank you doctor.

Young Frankenstein...

No, wait...

Mexican Bandit: Badges? We don't need no stinking badges.

Has to be Blazing Saddles

But...

Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: [to Inga from behind the bookcase] Put... the candle... back!

But...

Mongo: Mongo only pawn... in game of life.

or

Bandit: Cookie, can we get some more beans?
Cookie: I think you boys have about had enough!

AAGGHHHHH THERE ARE SOME QUESTIONS WHICH SHOULD NOT BE PONDERED!

I can't believe Young Frankenstein doesn't have more votes! Men in Tights and High Anxiety (parody of Hitchcockian thriller) are very close contenders.

Actually, those three, I equally love.
i'm with you on Young Frankenstein.
"What knockers!"
"Why, thank you!"

*snip*
Ovaltine?
My mistake there.
S'okay. That's just another movie I happen to like alot, so I know that was written/produced/directed by William Goldman and Rob Reiner. I really wasn't trying to be rude, although I probably should've put it better.

I have to say Robin Hood was my favorite of all.

Especially at the very beginning when his name came up.

"Every time they do a bloody robin hood movie they end up burning the whole village down."
Directed by Mel Brooks
"Leave us alone Mel Brooks!"

I love Blazing Saddles, Men in Tights is great too, though. Space Balls is pretty good, but it's been so long since I've seen it I can barely remember it. I haven't seen Mel Brooks' Producers yet, but my friend rented it and said it was really funny, and it sounds great.

"They call me Lil' John, but don't let the name fool ya'. In real life, very big."
"I'll take your word for it."

"What can I do for you?"
"Please become unconscious!"
(thump!)

Can't remember quotes from Blazing Saddles too well, but I know greatness is there.

I do wish that Mel Brooks would give us a sequel before he dies. To any of his movies.
