Poll: Best Star Trek captain

I'm not a fan of Star Trek but Patrik Stuart gets my vote. Plus why did they let Kirk in charge? All i've seen him do is badly fight aliens, who thought letting a pub brawler be in charge of intergalactic peace missions was a good idea? Might of well just sent Vinnie Jones.

Picard. Kirk was an ass, Archer was a bit dull, Sisko and Janeway were okay, but Picard is the best. Always sticking to his morals, always doing what is best whilst adhiring to the Prime Directive. Plus Patrick Steward is a LEGEND and awesome classical actor.

While Shatner is pretty awesome, Patrick Stewart definitely wins this one, as the question was 'best', not 'most hilarious'. TNG was the best Star Trek, and Picard the best captain, 'nuff said.

I'm not really sure how to react to somebody suggesting Janeway had 'the sexiest voice ever' - I would have sworn that the entire concept was an impossibility before your comment. I'm going to go be perplexed and disturbed now...

Anyways, I think Kirk is the best Captian, the man got promoted to Admiral, Picard didn't, though that's not to say that Picard is not deserving of the title, but Kirk is the better Officer I think

I voted for Picard, just because he's awesome and hes Patrick Stewart, the man is a thespian. my vote for second would either be Sisko or Archer. Archer is like an intelligent kirk and I think that Sisko has the hardest job of all the Captains.
