just watched all 6 in succession last week, and i can safely say the best film is attack of the clones. hayden christiansen is only a teenager, so is allowed to act like an adolescent (unlike revenge of the sith, where his teen angst looks so out of place).

Empire Strikes Back, you know why? It was the only movie in the entire series that George Lucas didn't have directorial input in.

There was technically a different director for Jedi (which I consider my 2nd favorite) , but George was over his shoulder a LOT of the time.

Is it so wrong to like "Attack of the Clones?" I really enjoyed watching that whole transition thing. It's pretty cool watching the ship designs evolve, and it's even cooler when you know the "good" ships are going to be "evil." Same goes for the characters. I wish they would have dwelt more in the politics; all I got is: "We're evil, so we need some dude to infiltrate the high ranks and take over the empire" - lame. I wanted to see some backdoor deals, wink, wink.

I like Phantom Menace the most... haven't seen the first 3 is so long, can't really remember much of them... Revenge of the Sith... ugh... the whole movie was predictable if you knew anything about the first 3, but there wasn't really much they could do about that...
