I'm ok with text quicktyping because you often want it done quickly.

IM and Youtube and Social Networking sites annoy me because you have the time to think through and spell correctly.

If you're going to write fan fiction at least fucking spell properly...

I'd have to say Youtube hands down. It drives me nuts when I see comments littered with abbreviations and misspelled words to the point where I can't even tell if they liked or hated the video. >_<
There should be a new policy

"If thy Grammar is not up to standard then thy post shall not be posted"
Or force them to listen to an audio sample of what they'e typed so they realise how stupid they really are.

sorry for being extremely racist and stereotypical...but inner city black people, the ones who make up dancing called jerkin (or however you spell it) and are unable to simply "ask" a question

All of them affected the English language and people's inception of the it and what is right or what is wrong.
The largest thing, I think, is text/instant messaging though.
The younger crowd is more prone to turn in schoolwork with words as they spell them on the internet and incorrect grammar like they use in text messages.
And since they're young, what they say to their friends sticks more at times than what they've learned in school (to a point) so I'm sure many continue to write like that, even though all the writing they do is informal.

Texting for outright butchery, Youtube for grammar, fan fiction for sentence structure, and the dreaded L33T...... I refuse to call that language when there are more numbers than letters.

There needs to be "People who call it American in place of English"

Otherwise I don't feel safe voting in this poll.

I'd probably say texts but at the same time... Americans. Sorry to say it, but its true. You've removed U's and added unnecessary Z's from and to many words.
It may not be you fault specifically - its just how you were taught.
The thing that I feel ruins the English language most is when I type something on the computer that I know to be correct and it comes up wrong because of the American spelling on the computer. That does not help peoples spelling.

I love that fan-fiction is one of the options available, but I'd say that the internet in general. Message-in-a-bottle-style posts, whether in chatrooms, games, youtube posts or whatever allow for a complete and utter disregard for pre-established language.
This is really just the evolution of English into something new and intangible...which people will fear and hate as they do anything they don't understand...yet.
