I'm dutch therefore you learn at least 3 different languages at school. You learn English, Dutch and most of the time you have to pick between German and French. I picked German. So i speak English, Dutch and German. The only languages i can have a conversation in tho are English and Dutch.

I speak fairly fluent french as well as English. I'm an anglophone here in Quebec so by law I have to conform to their french ways. Poor Quebecois, if they didn't have nazi like laws on the use of french language they would have a lot less influence around here.

Just English here, but I do know some Japanese, French and Amheric. Really want to learn Swahili so that I can have a conversation with pops and clicks. It sounds so awesome...

I took three years of Spanish in high school and the only things I can remember are basic grammar stuff to a degree and all of the words me and my friend looked up in the dictionary. Nothing makes me feel better than saying, "Yo balitando mucho en mis pantalones." I really don't know why...

I go to college where we have a really high deaf/hard of hearing percentage. I really would like to pick up sign language to be able to communicate with everyone here. A lot of the deaf kids that I have met are really cool but there is just so much lost in translation and finger-spelling hurts after the first sentence.

French, English, German

I can read Dutch, but can't understand when one speaks to me yet, though I can speak a few words...
I'm occasionally learning a bit of Spanish, and am considering learning it correctly soon.

Yes. I'm fluent in English and Romanian, though I'm starting to forget the latter since I barely use it anymore. I know a bit of French as well, but I'm far from being fluent in it.

Being from Norway I understand Danish and Swedish, can even speak some too.
I also speak English(obviously), Spanish and I know some phrases in German and French.

So, yeah, I speak other languages...

I'm English and have been learning Spanish for roughly four years now (currently doing GSCE Spanish). I have been on holiday to Spain and got by surprisingly well. I used to do French (for about 2/3 years) and also Latin (2 years).

Vous un peu plus de fromage?

I don't speak fluent French (far from it!) but I found that delightful little snippet when I looked up 'plus' (ploo) in the French-English dictionary:

"Would you like some more cheese?"
