Poll: Bioshock 2 Multiplayer commercial: Your thoughts?

To me it is just a huge fucking mockery to the game. This game is supposed to be about atmospheric horror and you beating a zombie thing up with a wrench, and you shooting bees out of your hand. But this Commercial is just a joke. It isn't supposed to be about an ugly pirate and a french ***** talking about a breakup

I have to admit, the end and the middle part gave me a good chuckle "THE CHILD IS MINE! *boom* *Scream*".

But all I can see outa that video, is there is a CTF style multiplayer match, where you carry around a little girl (I am thinking it is the one from Bioshock 1). But this isn't getting my hopes up.

I am not trying to judge the game by the commercial, it it will probably be good, and I know it is just an ad. But come on folks, that's the only Bioshock 2 commercial I have seen. I wanna piss my pants just by looking at it!

So, what do you think about this?

I also know that there is another commercial, it's just they barely show that one, and I can't use 2 Youtube videos to comment on that one. But the second get's me hyped.

I'll buy the game. But i probably won't even bother with the multiplayer. As you said, Bioshock is an atmospheric masterpiece, and i don't want to soil it.

I dont think its a mockery. I dont think it does justice to the game's atmosphere,but not a mockery. It is a funny way of looking at the game though.

Either way, Im hyped up for the release tuesday, and the first thing that the disc does will be taking me to the multiplayer screen.

Honestly...? It's a gamestop commercial Bioshock 2. If you have seen any of those gamestop commercials, you'd realize they parody the game, just check the Mass Effect 2 pre-order commercial from them.

ty. You see, there are some horror genre games that are supposed to be Multiplayer (EX:any survival horror EX: L4D1/2) and there are Horror games that probably shouldn't be multiplayer. To me, Bioshock is one of them. Cause, it focuses mostly on the horror of the game.

That about sum it up? The commercials aren't really made by 2K or Take-2, that explains why they're less...faithful to the original work.

Maybe it's because i watch Epic Battle Cry so much, but I just fucking hate Gamestop but i just dont find this amusing. And to be honest i dont really care so much that it's Bioshock since i actually am kind of indifferent about the multiplayer (it looks like it wont be bad but i dont hold high hopes), but i just generally dislike these commercials.

I won't even be playing the multiplayer in Bioshock 2, I have no interest in it.

I'll stick to not having Rapture ruined for me by other people, thanks.

I may or may not play this game but I can tell you for sure that this commercial did not sway me at all. The end bit was good though.

Yeah, I guess I am being pessimistic,and a little bit of a whiney little *****. but I guess I won't be the person who plays the multiplayer. Like I said, certain horror games do certain things good. Bioshock did the Atmosphere really well in the first game. I am expecting that in the second game. I am guessing if I have nothing to do or stumped in the single player, I will try the multiplayer. But really all I know is that I will stick to the plot of the story mostly.

EDIT: I also will dislike the multiplayer because they will probably ruin everything good about rapture. The fact that is quiet supports the game. But I don't wanna here a whiney little ***** (like me right now) getting depressed and yelling at everybody because he was killed in my under water city!!!

I pre-ordered this for the single-player, I shall give the multiplayer a try but I'm not expecting too much.
