All I can say is watch this ...

Yeah, I was watchiong one of the Trailers for it and all I could think was "this looks identical to BFBC2". Black Ops however looks fairly interesting and a little different.

Even though Black Ops looks like it's a total run 'n' gun fest i.e. Bugger all strategy...I'll still bite I guess.

The new medal of honour looks like a carbon copy of bfbc2, which is sad because I had a lot of fun with airborne. Kinda ruins any good advice I could give as well, as there hasn't been a call of duty game worth playing since CoD 2 IMO.

the question is essentially, Activision cash in or beating a EAs' thoroughly beaten dead horse (WTF was with rising sun?

Medal of Honor is a unrealistic shooter in realistic situations, it has superb sound effects and it is made on the frostbite engine. It is only set in iraq and Afganistane and tells some pretty emotional in depth stories for war. However, as innovation goes, medal of honor does not have much to offer, the weapons and game play are pretty standard, there does not seem to be much new creative awesomeness...

Call of Duty Black ops is a game with great graphics and adequet sound effects, it is made with the unreal engine 3, (arguably) the best gaming engine to date. It is made using the call of duty style of gameplay that you love so much, and if you hated COD:MW2 dont worry! it is made by treyarch and not infinity Ward, it has many new weapons and innovative gametypes... however the average unrealistic in unrealistic situations cod gameplay is still present and there are still using ruthly the same engine and gameplay as all the other COD games from modern warfare...

I don't know, personally i am saving up and trading a few games so i can get BOTH! but if you can't do that... i hope my information helped

Ermmmmm.... both?

But in all seriousness, i'll be getting Black Ops on day of release, it looks like it has a solid story unlike World at war. Besides, i'm hoping it has Zombies!
It does.

Black Ops. I like Treyarch's Call of Duty better than Infinity Ward's and it has a lot of stuff to mess on with like custom appearance and wager mode.

VS threads aren't that welcome here.
I'd say BlOps though, it looks kinda good even though there is a 4 round automatic ROCKET LAUNCHER!

Medal Of Honour is basically a Modern Warfare 2 copycat with some Bad Company 2 thrown at it.

COD Black Ops is basically Modern Warfare 2, but balanced, with zombie mode, and some neat features ripped from Counter Strike and Halo.

So yeah, Black Ops.

EDIT: Versus threads aren't welcome blah blah flame wars blah blah mod wrath blah blah don't do it.

Buy neither, and then go spend that money on a genre that hasn't gone completely backwards.

I'll get them both, even though the MOH beta sucked monkey scrotums.
But at least it had a beta. No word on a Black Ops one yet. :'(
They've pretty much confirmed there won't be one.

Fucking Activision. Here comes another broken game... let's just hope Treyarch are fast with the patches.

If I bought one of the two, I think I'd go for Medal of Honor mainly because I'm sick of all the hype surrounding Call of Duty, and I'd like to think it'd offer a longer campaign.

Modern Warfare 2 story is only 6 hours long, I was not impressed.

Good thing I borrowed it from a housemate and therefore didn't give Uncle Bobby any cash...
