I would say Black Ops. I think it looks way more interesting than Medal of Honor, what with the ability to use exploding crossbows and such.

Any one or combo of the following...
Brink. I like the parkour aspect.
Bulletstorm. You get bonus points for shooting people in the ass!
Halo:Reach. Forge World...I wanna recreate Unreal.

They both seem appealing to me but I will probably get Black Ops first just because all my friends are getting it and I love the COD campaigns.

This is going to be the first time since the first CoD came out that I'm going to say I might choose a Medal of Honor game over a CoD one.

I'd say Black Ops simply because Call of Duty started to get good with Modern Warfare, while MoH has just languished in mediocrity since the PS1. That is a pretty uneducated opinion tho.

Ermmmmm.... both?

But in all seriousness, i'll be getting Black Ops on day of release, it looks like it has a solid story unlike World at war. Besides, i'm hoping it has Zombies!
it will have zombies!

I'd say MoH but I don't give a shit about the DICE made multiplayer though, so if you care about multiplayer, then for gods sake, do as the others say and get the kart racer(that's black ops).

Yeah NV is gonna rock, but I do have MoH on preorder. As I said, all the controversy as well as all the things people call negative are around the DICE multiplayer, which might be final incentive for them to screw military shooters and make Mirrors Edge 2, so I'm buying MoH for the single player campaign. It looks rad.

Neither. I have come to the conclusion that I just don't care about first person shooters anymore. Halo: Reach is probably the last one I will buy for a long time. Unless you count Fallout: New Vegas as a FPS, which I don't.

Medal of Honor is a unrealistic shooter in realistic situations, it has superb sound effects and it is made on the frostbite engine. It is only set in iraq and Afganistane and tells some pretty emotional in depth stories for war. However, as innovation goes, medal of honor does not have much to offer, the weapons and game play are pretty standard, there does not seem to be much new creative awesomeness...

Call of Duty Black ops is a game with great graphics and adequet sound effects, it is made with the unreal engine 3, (arguably) the best gaming engine to date. It is made using the call of duty style of gameplay that you love so much, and if you hated COD:MW2 dont worry! it is made by treyarch and not infinity Ward, it has many new weapons and innovative gametypes... however the average unrealistic in unrealistic situations cod gameplay is still present and there are still using ruthly the same engine and gameplay as all the other COD games from modern warfare...

I don't know, personally i am saving up and trading a few games so i can get BOTH! but if you can't do that... i hope my information helped
Black Ops doesn't use Unreal, none of the COD game uses unreal.

Correction 1: Only MoH's multiplayer is made on Frostbite(the BFBC2 engine). The single player is made on a new engine developed by the EA LA team. This is why the entire multiplayer addition of the game is just fucked. It's just tacked on, it's not the same game at all. Not the same engine, not the same HUD, not the same developer, not the same physics, not the same place to place settings. I don't mind, though, as I hope this means more time goes into the single player than in CoD games.

Correction 2: It's only set in Afghanistan.

I might get Black Ops if the multi is actually balanced this time around. I'll probably rent it first to test the waters.

It is really tempting to buy Medal of Honor, if only for the Battlefield 3 Beta. I'll probably rent it as well.

And on that note.

BATTLEFIELD 3 WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

Black Ops. Don't get me wrong, I fucking hated CoD3 and WaW (polished digital shit is the description that seems most apt), but the multiplayer trailers have - to my surprise - raised my hopes that it'll be a good game.
This is exactly the same for me.

I'll end up getting or at least renting both but most of my friends will probably play black ops.

It really looks like Treyarch are getting rid of alot of the more unfair things from mw2 (ridiculous killstreaks, marathon lightweight commando, removing stopping power), only problem is with the balancing of killstreaks and perks the weapons look abit too much. The knife gun ans crossbow for one and the tomahawk sounds pretty annoying already.

Wait to hear more about them. They haven't said how long the campaign is for Black Ops. That's all I care about.
