Obviously they did not factor in Asians when they conducted this experiment, because most of the smartest kids I know are Asian, and they work EXTREMELY hard, too.

My father has blue eyes and sounds very much like the type of person described. However, a lot of other people I've seen with blue eyes are the opposite. I'll observe more when I get back to school, but most of the smarter people I know, have brown, while I can think of a number of druggies I know with blue eyes.

I think if it does have an effect, the environment they grow up in and other factors would have a much bigger impact on their studies.

I remind everyone that having blue eyes does not, according to this study, mean you're automatically going to perform well academically. It only says the eye-colour correlates with your performance. And correlation does not equal causation.

In closing, I would also like to remind people that implying that different genetic buildups have different attributes does not equal nazism. If there is valid evidence supporting the theory, it is fact rather than dogma. There's a difference between equal capacity in all areas and equal value. It's rather obvious that having short legs will generally make you run slower than someone with long legs, but that doesn't mean the short-legged people are worthless rats. And this study doesn't claim brown-eyed people are either.

I don't even see how anyone could regard an IQ test to be credible let alone an IQ test used to differentiate the intelligence based on nationality.

Sure there are stereotypes but not all sterotypes are based on a common or abundant pattern. I know more Asians who struggle at maths than those who don't, blue eyed and blond hair people who are idiots and a tall Japanese people.

The point is, I think this "research" is crap. Even I, who last did science as an elective in my first year at university knows that colour of your skin, hair or eyes has nothing to do with intelligence. And I don't see how people can say that certain tests or studies are done better by a certain nationality. Granted if they have an advantage in language or other means of communication between the subject matter and the person then yes, but in general everyone learns in a same medium and environment. It just comes down to how dedicated, motivated and time efficient you are with studies.
