As soon as I figure out how to spontaneously increase the size of my abs, I'll consider it.
As it is, my physical condition would compare unfavorably with Stephen Hawking's. I am the epitome of weakness.

I'm somewhat biologically incapable of being a "booth babe", so I'm having trouble comprehending why anyone would want to have me dress up in a skimpy outfit and stand around for hours, let alone leer at the comically obviously cross-dressing me, so no, I really don't think I'd do that ever.
Not that I'm some hideously obese fellow who would be inflicting mental anguish upon anyone unfortunate to glimpse their terribly inappropriate costume-to-pound ratio at work mind you, I just have serious doubts that your average game show attendee wants to see booth babes that are 6' males with goatees (definitely not shaving that off).
All I'd really need is the armor and a pair of non-sunglasses.
I'm a guy so it'd be a bit weird. Maybe as a male character then yes, if it got me in with the cute gamer chicks, I'd be more than happy to. A job's a job, right? Add in free entry to some random convention and you've got yourself a Booth Babe! As long as it's a character I'm okay with playing (so no half naked JRPG guy, unless I get a big sword... pun not intended ).
Give me six months down the gym to turn my pasty incipient beer gut into Dirk Manchest and I'd do it. I have no problem with public exposure, but everyone else would.
Get paid to stand around at a game convention? Hell yes. For that I'd gladly were nothing but a kilt (as long as it wouldn't be to cold in the room/ the booth had heating vents in the floor mmmmm warm breeze).
