Never. The worst I've had is the pad start peeling off of the left thumbstick on a Gamecube controller.

I will throw my controller, but always, without exception, at a soft surface.

Edit: Like my roommate.

...well this got off topic pretty quick eh?

I used to fling SNES controllers around because Contra was just about the hardest game in the world at the time.

I've never broken a controller but once I had my Game Boy in my coat pocket and I fell right onto the pocket and ruined the screen.

Now why the fuck would you break your controler? them things cost money dammit!

I aint mada controlers!
If you were, I would set up a mining operation, mining away at your delicious controller-filled interior.

...Sorry, I guess that's kind of creepy.
Whoops.

It was an accident, moron.
Personal insult, reported again. Your not helping your case.
You can only report someone once. It doesn't matter after that first report.
Also, if this was a "(no text)" thing, you should've just waited. It's only polite.
Agree with Max, you're being a NARC.
Hooray, I was agreed with!
Creepy? by all means no! you have a business idea there!, we mine my body of its resources and sell it for a fraction of the cost to angry, agnst teenagers!. we'll make millions!

I never went as far as to break a controller in half or anything, but I did fuck up one of my controllers playing shadow of the colossus (rage throw)

so your dating Tyger fire?, and telling people that you break controllers is bad?.
i hope so, hahahahah.

Anyway, on topic, I think its pretty stupid of someone to "break" their personal belongings, why does someone output such tendencies towards a small possesion?, because breaking the controller is better than breaking something of greater value?.

Poor excuse I say, its a control freaks cop out arguement, they broke something because they got into a situation that they couldn't control.

I've only every smashed controllers on my PS2, I must have got through loads of them, I think the main culprit was Tekken.

Haven't broken a 360 controller yet, other than general wear and tear.

Never intentionally, though I did once short a Playstation controller or two through static electricity. That sucked.

while your probably right in that daminahell was reporting on an unfinished topic, I prefer my view, that he's Tygerfires boyfriend, and he's pissed at her telling everyone he breaks shit!.

I don't, and even though my boyfriend does it, I still think it's insanely stupid to do so.
Now you need to go buy a new controller, and what if you couldn't wait to smash it before you quit the game? now you can't save because your controller is gone. Good job.
*grammar policing*
Wow, some people have way too much time on their hands. Thanks for implying my boyfriend was sad and in his mom's basement by the way.

There is only one option...
I bet you that it will be 100% for yes.
94% no when i voted, nice try buddy.

i haven't broken any of my controllers. if a game is annoying me i turn it off. saves on having to buy a new controller.
I accidentally posted a half finished topic by pressing Enter in the wrong spot.
oh, so he was being ironic/funny/sarcastic, i see. thanks for clearing that up. is that what the who 'reported' business was related to at the start?

I've thrown controllers (at people and objects) but no, I've never broken one by doing this. I've broken them other ways, Fight Night killed alot of my controllers analogue sticks. My N64 controllers all have busted up analogue sticks too.
