They have massively increased public debt, tuition fees. Thats right, because of them we leave uni with massive debt, i believe 30,000 is average.
The best bit is the socttish universities are subsidised by brritish taxes too. The best place to be at the mo is Ireland as it has only got a yearly registration fee (unless you repeat a year), but that may be about to change

Add an option for NONE because all political parties are brainwashing pricks. And you should remove the BNP option.
Okay, there not really pricks but none of them can run a country, we have to have the useless politicians!

Where's the Green Party on the poll? I strongly agree with all their policies, honestly if they got in and actually did all the things they say they're going to do, Britain would be a seriously awesome place to live!

Other for me, my preference is Green Party, closely followed by Socialist Labour (different party to Labour) then the Lib Dems. New Labour are appauling and I'd rather cut my own face off than support the Tories.

On the Poll Monster Raving Loony. But since I think they've died or something, I'll go with Green.

BNP... seriously?

You do realise that people are going to click that option on the poll, not because they agree with what they do, but because... well, to mess up the poll.

Admin should find out who voted BNP and perma-ban them.

It will save future racism.

I voted none.

I notice that whoever voted for the BNP on here hasn't bothered to actually make a post, unless they did it as a joke then said their real preference here. Only reason I can think of for that is the fear of them being flamed or something for being racist scumbags...

Anyway, my option is Conservative. Because it's the only party likely to make a difference and get voted into power, since the other parties are all too small to gain the majority needed. Labour have screwed this country over, and although Conservative have done some pretty bad stuff before as well, they're still much better. Plus, my grandmother has lived through both Conservative and Labour governments for over 80 years and she's always noticed that Conservative have done a much better job in general, despite the fact that even they aren't perfect. Looking at statistics taken from the last 80 years, I can tell you, she's right. Conservative will be much better for this country than Labour were, not that that's saying much...

I voted other because I just don't know anymore. I've usually been attracted to the labour philosophy and policies, but the recent crisis within the party has left me untrusting of them (and most politicians to be fair (not that I wasn't untrusting of them in the first place like, now that's enough parenthesis)) but no other parties really suit me. I agree with some new Tory policies but I think Cameron would make an absolutely terrible PM so I'm not inclined to vote for them. Lib Dem I'm not really sure. I've never been very up to speed with many of their policies so I may have to check them out before I vote. Ukip and BNP are totally out because they have some ridiculous policies that if enacted would probably end up ruining the country, the Green Party would be a fairly suitable choice but I think they haven't got a hope in hell of getting anywhere this election and I'd rather my vote counted for something.

I'll probably just end up eeney-meeney-miny-mo-ing it on election day.

I want the IP of whoever voted BNP.

I say labour. I'd prefer lib dems but they don't have a realistic chance of getting in. Anything to stop the conservatives.
see I used to have the mentality but I figure the only way to get them is to vote for them, where I live (the local election is tomorrow) the lib dems are the only possible of removing labour so I'm going for them. Also they're green policies seem more plausible.

I was going to go conservative but Cameron seems to have usurped Barack Obama's "Change" slogan since I got a leaflet from them today saying "time for change" with that every so ordinary guy Cameron smiling on the front.

Studying politics at A level has made me realise how badly politics function in this country, so the more I learn, the more I hate politics XD

As a subject it's fascinating though. Anyone else sit the politics exam today??

Plus, why the fuck are people actually voting for the BNP? Uneducated scum

I must say that socialism scares me much more than fascism, even though I come from a strong Labour household.

How does it function badly? Not disagreeing with you, as I too think politics is rather interesting.

Also, in answer to the current question, I intend to vote Green Party.
